Re: 10/16 Furball, AMPS=262, SS Question

I'm glad Furball is happy and purry and coming down.

Someone on Health is asking the same type of question as you are regarding the color coding.
I'm sure it's just a matter of highlighting the range you want color coded, and then clicking on the little icon for Text background color and then selecting Conditional formatting..

Re: 10/16 Furball, AMPS=262, SS Question

You could try logging out and logging back into Google, or closing the browser and reopening it. That has happened to me a couple times and I didn't have to muck with the conditional formatting at all.

Re: 10/16 Furball, AMPS=262, SS Question

It may also depend on how you added rows to your SS if, in fact, you added rows. I found when I used the "add 20 rows at the bottom" option, it didn't duplicate the format. I now highlight a block of rows and use the "Insert" from the main menu.

Like Dyana noted, you can re-set the conditional formatting.

Re: 10/16 Furball, AMPS=262, SS Question

Morning Carla ~O) ~O) ~O)

on the SS. This has happened to me too, and I found the reason was as Sienne stated. I am always adding rows, shifting things around, and after a while I lost the auto color coding. I now add via insertion of rows, as Sienne described. I now no longer have problem. Ti fix now you can do as Dyana described. That will work too. Good luck!

nice stat today for Furball. Sunny yellow!

Have a great day today, I hope all goes well.

Re: 10/16 Furball, AMPS=262, SS Question

The initial color coding is only set up in the first 75-100 rows or so to make the template smaller. When you reach those rows that do not have the formatting, that's when you lose the colors. The 'insert' works like Sienne detailed above but there's another way too -

'Copy' a cell that does have the right formatting
Highlight the cell (or even a range of cells) without the color
Right click on the highlight - you'll find a selection called "Paste special..."
Choose 'Paste Special...' - another little screen will come up asking what 'special' you want - you want FORMAT only.
Viola - it works again until you reach the place you stopped your 'paste special...'

Altho' it looks a bit 'longish', it truly took longer to write it then it takes to 'fix' it...

BIG HUG!!!!

Thanks for the answers on my SS question everyone.

I went to get Furball's insulin ready for this evening and found her syringe from this morning on the counter, with the insulin still in it. ohmygod_smile I guess I wasn't feeling as well as I thought this morning. I am feeling better overall, but still have moments where I don't feel very good. Poor kitty. I was wondering why she was so high. I marked it as a fur shot on her SS.

Oh no, poor Furball! I know how bad you must feel about that! I found a syringe once too but it was only about 20 minutes later. Sometimes I wonder where the heck my mind goes sometimes, and I wasn't even sick when I did that!

So did you mark it as a fur shot BEFORE or AFTER you found the syringe? ;-)

Hope you get feeling better and Furball comes down for you!

Jo

Oh Carla. Mama said there would be days like this (Alexander and the horrible, terrible, no good very bad day - great book if you've never read it).

Furball. Take this all in stride and just do your surfing thing.

Thanks for visiting FBs page. He is getting excited to party.

Hi Carla, that happens. You still weren't feeling well, so that's understandable how that would happen with the syringe still on the counter. I hope you get some good sleep tonight.
Sometimes I get my syringe all ready in the morning after taking a long time to get the dose right. I then in my sleepy state take apart the syringe thinking I've already given the shot! :?
