Sorry posting late but after getting in today I was sooo tired I took a well needed nap. Doogle got his reduction that is for sure! This morning the DH went to give Doogle his shot and he was 38. Well I was an hour and half away and he couldnt get me on the cell phone (no service) so he fed him some HC and waited to test. Doogle came up a little, so the DH fed him some LC because he was still hungry. When Doogle got to 80, he still wasnt comfortable shooting since the number was food influenced only after an hour. So he waited a couple of hours to let the HC get out of his system and he gave him his shot at 206. I got in about an hour after that and Doogle was up. Now the DH shot the regular dose because that is what we have always done (shot through the bounce). I laid down to take a nap and so did he I gather because I slept for 4 hours and got up to check Doogle and he hadnt been checked since +1.5. Well Doogle was a nice 47...so time to eat! At least Doogle got his reduction for tonight and I hope he holds it.
Had a great time at the pumpkin patch today. Thought it was going to rain so I wore my combat boots and along sleeve shirt. Well it didnt rain and it warmed up. So I was burning up all day. Plus had to stand on my feet the whole time and I dont do so well standing for several hours at once (way to many years standing in heals on concrete floors in retail). But my grandson was thrilled to have me there. He had a great time with his classmates and learning about how things are done on a farm. But I will say, man I am glad my kids are grown now....LOL. I am getting way to old to handle a bunch of little kids anymore. We were not able to get pictures because there wasnt any free time really to do it. But I am sure there will be pictures at Halloween. Grandy (thats me) is doing the oldest (5) as a zombie and the youngest (3) as a vampire (just up my alley). So there will pictures taken then.
All in all a good day and proud of the DH for handling that alone. Maybe something did finally sink into that thick skull of his.
