Clare was bouncing today so we gave her and us a break from the poking.
The last four cycles, Clare was in the blues and greens. That's the longest continuous visit to the lower numbers that she's made, and it's given us hope that she's getting better and we're getting better, too, at helping her.
Tonight, we tried skipping her +1 mini-meal of 8% food, since she was bouncing during the day and we thought it would probably continue and didn't want to feed higher carbs to accelerate the bounce. So instead, we tested at +2.5, got a high BG and skipped the higher carb. Hopefully, she'll stop surfing in the pinks and will come down some for the AMPS tomorrow. Paws crossed this is not the current dose becoming less effective.
We've had some beautiful fall days and Clare's taught us to go outside (with her) and enjoy them. The sunrises and sunsets have been amazing! It's the season for it, so Clare has also caught two mice today, one inside and one outside that, to be honest, Coral caught and left for Clare to find. What a nice sister: Clare always seems so contented when she has a mouse. Oh well, to each her own! :lol:
