quiet rainy chilly day -- Catcat just wants to curl up on a warm blanket (I need to wash his favorite fleece quilt throw as he may have spotted some of his pee on it when I noticed him doing that and yelled NO at him)

luckily it didn't get the crocheted afghan that usually underlies the fleece, so he has a semi-warm "mat" to sit on-- remember the reader that featured "the cat sat on the mat" ? -- but he does look like he's pouting a bit -- however I won't complain about the 102 he just showed on the test strip -- that may be nadir or close to it, so far the reduction is holding -- crossing fingers (we need an emoticon for that)

altogether a quiet day, didn't get much done, took out garbage, fed barn cats and petted Kurry, Greta let me get within a foot of her, quick run to the store, added time to our prepaid cellphones, took care of Catcat, did a little on my computer game and finished reading two books, played with an app on my new Android but I still don't understand how to work it

once I get caught up a bit on sleep (didn't sleep well over the weekend while DH was gone for 3 days), I'll get going, had to unpile a bunch of boxes and dig through them, to find DH's Civil Air Patrol uniform shirts, tie, and cap, which he needed for the weekend, now I get to repack those boxes which are stacked precariously next to the closet -- and put away the summer-only clothes while I'm at it -- too much stuff, needs sorting since I'm sure some of it no longer fits
 
Did you go away on your trip? I hope CatCat is doing okay ... I thought you were talking about that last time. Missed seeing your posts :)
