I think Simon has a little bit of a bounce going on today due to his lower numbers and multiple mini-meals last night. He was so excited to get all the meals and was running around the house, jumping against the wall, and antagonizing Cleo. Luckily, he wore himself out around midnight and I was able to get some sleep.

Today, is a busy day, running errands and getting my hair cut and colored. Then we are off to a Scottish Highland festival to hear some great music.

Squirrel update: the squirrel in our attic is still there. He learned how to trip the cage so we haven't caught him yet. It is so strange to hear little feet running around in the attic. I have learned that 1 squirrel can make a lot of noise.

Good afternoon Georgia - I don't thin I've told you this but I just think Simon is just gorgeous - every time I see his picture I'm enamored by his handsomeness!

I guess the benefits of a bounce is that it lets you do all of the things you need to. Sometimes I think they work with out schedules!

Hi Georgia, so funny with the "very smart" squirrel. I think he has made a home there with your family. :lol: It's not a bad bounce for Simon, and as Jessica said, it lets you do some things today. I just love getting my hair done. It sounds like a nice day for you. The Nature's Variety Instinct chicken flavor has made a difference in Maggie's bg cycle, it seems. I'll be interested in seeing if Simon likes it, too. I bought 12 cans yesterday. I also found a neat pet store nearby. Petco does carry the NV Instinct, and they had it on sale for $1.10/can. It's a bit pricey but worth it if it's good for our furbabies. Have a nice day.

Ann, the $1.10 is a good price for Natures Variety. The store I went to yesterday priced it at $2.00/can and they only had one flavor. I spent $40.00 buying a bunch of differenct cans of food. I could have bought double the amount of FF for the same price. This food thing is very expensive!

Yes, I am getting lots done today since Simon seems to like the number 156.

Hi guys - what a nice mellow blue day for Simon. Nice too that he does hit the stratosphere when he bounces. I'd take blue any day! :-D

God luck with the food stuff - I hope you fins some that Simon likes. I now on the price... omg! it gets costly after a while...

Enjoy thee festival - it sounds like that would be fun, very enjoyable.

Hi Georgia, wow $2.00/can - was it a 5 oz. can? The NV ones I bought were the 3 oz can. There is a good deal on Pet Food Direct, but it's $9.99 for shipping. The convenience is nice for me with shipping. I'm going to wait a while and see how long Mags keeps eating it before ordering online. I hope Simon approves of it. have a good night.
 
Good evening, guys!! Nice blue cycle tonight for Simon!! Willie is a fan of the Instinct food as well... we picked some up at Petco in the Chicken and also the Lamb... they've both been a hit so far! I especially like that they are very dense... By adding a decent amount of water and whizzing it up in the mini chopper, I find that Willie likes the mousse-like consistency better, and I find it goes much farther than the less costly brands... so I think at Petco prices, at least, it works out about the same in the end.
