just a bit low for me to shoot (I know, I am a chicken.... I feel more comfortable with it over 75) so I stalled for 15 mins and
AMPS 92
I had given her a teaspoon of raw food to test the BSL so it could have been food influenced I guess.....but I felt better about shooting.
She hasn't had a green preshot for a while so I am really happy about that.
She has held the reduction well and had several good cycles. Still dropping down into green for some of them but the force of the drop is much less....which is good!
Her cough seems to have resolved thank goodness. I haven't heard it for at least a day.
Sheba accidently bit me the other day........I had given her her gelcap and then she grabbed her chicken heart. She spat out the gelcap as she grabbed the heart and I very stupidly tried to get the heart out of her mouth and that is when she bit me. She did not mean to hurt me ...she doesn't bite or scratch....she was trying to keep the heart and I should have known better! Not deep but very close to the finger nail. I washed it and put cream on it, but it has become infected. I had some strong antibiotic cream in the frig which I keep for occasions like this and it is slowly resolving. Still a way to go but better than it was.
OT. A boy (11) in my 2 eldest DGD's class at school died the day before yesterday from a brain tumour he had been fighting for about 6 months. Poor little boy and how devastating for the family!!
Everyone was hoping it could be treated successfully. The school notified all the parents by email so they could tell their kids and then they had a gathering at the school and prayers for the boy and the family and had counsellors there for the kids. The girls were very upset about it as you can imagine, and needed to talk about it........It sure puts everything into perspective when something like this happens.
