Morning.
Shadow's limp is a lot better since I've been airlifting her off her tower and I am about to call the vet to see what openings there are.
I've been trying to balance the checkbook all morning ( 3rd day) and feeling really poor for the rest of 2012.
Guess I'll have to go find stuff to sell on ebay. Medical bills have overwhelmed us this year. Way over our normal budget and still
don't know our future portion from dd 's upcoming tests.

Shadow has been getting purrier.
Love the cooler weather since it makes her more cuddly.
One of the things she has previously always done at night ( cold nights especially) is come lay on my chest, wanting scritches and
sometimes giving love bites . She then decides to sleep with her cheek on my cheek. Or her forhead on my chin. I just love it.
(except if a whisker goes up my nose :lol: )

Got do some other things today but hope to visit everyone in break periods thruout the day.

Hi Rhiannon, Nice numbers for Shadow :mrgreen: glad she is limping less since you started lifting her down, kitty valet service :lol: . Its sweet that Shadow wants to cuddle on you, a nice benefit of colder weather. Hope you can get into your vet soon and they dont find anything serious. We have routine well cat exam & shots coming up for the younger furs next month and I am amazed at what vet care and really all health care costs. I am really glad we found this site and got our gang off the pricey yet worthless vet Rx catfood. Enjoy your day!

Shadow has appt on wednesday 9 am.
they wanted fasting and I said no.
We'lll see what she says when we are there. It was completely foreign to the front desk that I am bringing Shadow in and she should
be on her last dose of insulin. Hopefully for a few years.

And very low carb foods today which gave us a pmps of 73.
Guess she is a little carb sensitive. :mrgreen:

What a lovely PMPS from Ms. Shadow! Paws crossed for good vetty appt. this week. I hope they find nothing. My civie Theo whacked his foot against an appliance in the kitchen this spring (not sure which one, just heard it) and was limping for a while. Just a sprain the vetty said and time is the healer. Hopefully something similar for Shadow.

I can so relate to the long whiskers up the nose. Theo has the same long whiskers and while I like the cuddles, they are awfully ticklish!

thanks for visiting Fur Ball's condo. We are doing good but I just get paranoid if his numbers rise. Got used to all the greens.

fur ball has never been much of a cuddler but he has definitely become more affectionate in the past month. I hope its because he is feeling better. His GA brothers Baxter and Simon were my snuggle bugs and I really miss them. Hoping that FB will continue to recognize the value of snuggling and just keep wanting more. :smile:

Hi Rhiannon - sorry for the late post. The day just keeps getting away from me. Thanks for checking up on Mannie. It sure has been a good ay for Shadow - love the Numbers. You've done so well with her. I hoe your day has been a good one. I can so relate to the medical expenses - that was our year last year. Good luck with it all.
