Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night, ate most of his nighttime food (close to AMPS, of course), and we had a brief schmoose before I left to take my car in for servicing. Edward will see to it that he eats his breakfast and give him a good combing. Today is another Indian Summer day, so I think the boys will spend some time outdoors.

I'm stuck in Lake Placid for most of the day. My car
is getting prepared for winter: snow tires put on; brakes cleaned; rustproofing/undercoating. So I took the opportunity to walk into town to get my hair cut and at present am in the public library in an alcove that overlooks Mirror Lake. It's overcast today with rain on the way and the autumn leaves are just beautiful.

Off to visit some condos before venturing out to see what's on sale at Eastern Mountain Sports and eat my lunch on the shore of the lake.

Wishing all a good day and continuing to send healing vines to all kitties and beans in need.

Nice start for Rusty...I'm sure he's working his way to the lagoon as you wait for your car! Enjoy your lunch and good luck with finding good sales at EMS!!

Nice start today! Sounds like a great place to settle in to wait. I do miss the change of seasons, we just sit and hope for rain. They are teasing us about it today, maybe, but probably not. :YMSIGH:

Nice start for Rusty. I hope the boys got to enjoy some outside time. Hopefully it didn't take too long with your car.

Nice start Rusty! hope your day went well.

I used to vacation in lake placid when I lived in ON. What a wonderful place to live Ella! hope you had time to watch the leaves. :-D

Yep, I watched the leaves a lot! My car is all finished and in good shape for winter (anti jinx!). I bought myself a present at EMS: a new backpack. Now I'm ready for winter :lol:
The shop washed my car, so since it was so warm today and threatening to rain for the rest of the week, I decided to wax it for the winter. Then back to the shop to get the wheel lugs torqued (necessary about 20 miles after wheels are taken off and put back on). So I've been out all day except when I was home to get Rusty's +8. I think he did OK today.

Wishing all a good evening. I'm about to veg out, watch some of the Giants/Cardinals game, and sit with Rusty on the couch. bbl,

Sorry I missed yesterday.... it sounds like a busy, but enjoyable one for you. Rusty did well too! I see the lagoon meister was on duty! :mrgreen: :cool:
