Hi guys ... I'm sorry that rupert is bouncing and diving all over the place for you .. not sure if you've ever looked at mocha's SS before or not, but you can see she was never regulated either, not until just before her OTJ trial .. it was like one night she said no, I'm done with direbeasties and she was! I am sure the same holds true for you and rupert .. you just have to go at his pace .. hang in there, you're doing great!

Hey, i never really studied Mocha's spreadsheet before! Thank you for the inspirational words, it's what I needed to hear! Don't mind me, once the rains start here we all get a tad depressed and hubby is already gearing up for a rough winter I think. I start to worry about him, all our older animals, etc.etc. and so things tend to bug me more than they should! I HAVE learned to 'go with the flow' with Rupie though... and since I've stopped 'trying' so hard with him, (if you get my meaning), it's a lot easier. I focus on how darned happy and healthy he looks and that's the main thing! He's alive and doing fine! now, I just need to find a way to keep his beans healthy and happy this winter!!

this slightly fattened 2.25 seems to be working.. I just hope he quits being quite so dramatic about it. He's having a nice lunch right now, very pleased with himself!

I too laughed out loud at the picture! Of course, it could equally be called "Rupert ventures outside on a rainy fall day". At least it isn't coming down at this moment here. I have heard it's supposed to be a milder winter, so maybe that'll help your old un's a bit.

Rupert does like to show off doesn't he? He's an excellent example to newbies of why mid cycle tests are important, no matter what the PS values are!

Am vaguely toying with idea of Levemir although the later nadir could be problematic.. guess I'll revisit the idea when we get to the end of this batch of insulin. And yeah, good to see the rain stopped.. for a little while. wind storm for tonight though, and more rain, bleah! Can't believe i'm sick of it already and it's only been a couple of days!!! let's hope we have a mild, short winter and spring comes fast !!!
 
sigh, and once again, another wicked bouncy number for his PMPS. sigh. the lower he goes, the higher he bounces... Rupert defies the laws of physics!!! grrrrr!

I was going to ask you earlier, if you had forgotten to put a number in front of that 63. Guess it was real, huh?

I think the horsies are sneaking him some oats. :roll:

Aww...Rupert! You win! You bounced higher than Rosy, now you can slide down from that roof. BTW, got to ask your mumbean what brand of tester to record such high numbers :lol: Mine, just gave me a Hi!
 
I hope you will give some serious thought to lev. If it doesn't work, you can switch him back. Sounds like you have some time to think about it until your current insulin runs out.
