Yesterday, Neko finally got her green back. Another successful dosecrease threat! And an example of going high before going low. Tricia and Michelle, thanks for the keeping an eye on Neko late at night.

Neko was super happy to see me up at +9 this morning. She immediately dropped to the rug and rolled over for belly rubs. So I obliged. cat_pet_icon After testing she got a little HC to keep her safe while we went out rowing. I've seen 4 out of 5 P's in action this morning. No play, but there was evidence of whacking in the kitchen. :lol: All breakfasts were hoovered as per normal.

OT: miserable row today. Raining (not drizzling), dark and some wind which creates bumpy water. We only rowed in the cove. Hot showers and beverages were the order of the day after. We've been spoiled this year. This is the first "autumn" row. We have a youth regatta on Saturday for about 100 high school students. Forecast isn't great for then either. Ugh!

Nothing better than a warm shower after cold day outside! Over in MN the cold weather rule began today so we know the snow is coming! Apples are everywhere and wonderful!
So glad Neko is doing so well!

Sorry about the abrupt change in your weather, Wendy. I guess you were spoiled by the summer pattern. Time to get crackin'!!

I hope the high school regatta will get better weather and calmer seas.

Blue, blue, blue. Might have done a lagoon toe touch, but I missed it. :lol:

Not sure what Neko did this afternoon, probably slept. DH and I were out in the rain on the water making depth measurements for buoys for the regatta. Yup, more time in the rain on the water. :lol: But at least the wind was gone.

@Carla, Linda, Ella, Anne - Thanks for saying hello to little blue girl. Vancouver locals had a fantastic summer and start to fall - time to get back to reality. Neko hasn't been out since it started either. Forecast today is dry for regatta day, but that can change. And thanks to Linda, I've now got a craving for hot apple cider. Yumm!
