LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, want to make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! As a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are really good today too!

I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine was great. It was pool day, so hoe can one go wrong with that? We had a great morning before heading on out to the pool. William is really growing an changing, and likes to watch his brother play. Nicholas will show him things, how to do things, and just talk with him. MORNINGS here are so much fun. Yesterday the boys played blocks, watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and laughed alot before we headed on out to the pool. William stayed with my DMIL Grammie Connie while Nicholas and I went to the pool. Here is what I wrote last night about yesterday: "Hi everyone - I hope your day has been a good one. Our has been very nice. Our morning fog burned off about 10:30, so that was nice. We ended up with a sunny day, temps in the 50's. Actually a very nice fall day. The rest of the week still predicted to be sunny and 60. WOOT! We are all so looking forward to that! It was a good day in the pool today. As always Nicholas had a blast doing what he wanted to do today. Slides for a bit, swim the beach for a bit, and then off to the big pool. His enthusiasm in that pool is just unreal. Lots of flips and tosses and jump ins today. This was too fun: when we got to that pool there was a class just winding up. It looked like 4/5 yr olds? anyways they were doing jump ins. So Nicholas decides he wants to be in the class, so off he went. He stood a respectable distance next to the kids and did what they did. Way too funny, but way cool too. ;-) :-D He did well today, did 1.5 hours almost, even with two obstacles. He was beat when we got there - falling sleep in the car. 1) Seems he was up alot last night when he should have been sleeping, wanting this and that, typical little kid stuff. So not much rest for him. and 2): The pool folks are working on the air system, and just re-tarred the roof. Guess people complained on the smell. so their solution was to open the glass doors along the sides of that big pool to air things out.  HUH????? it was 42 outside at that time.    I had to laugh though - you could feel the cold, and the steam was really rising off of the pool surface. It was kinda cool, figuratively and realistically. The cold really is not matter if you are a lap swimmer etc, but those little kids were cold. so... despite the lack of sleep, and his constant shivering he did very well. LOL: It didn't take him long to figure out he needed to stay in the water to stay warm. Not too sure when we will get back to the pool this week, as my DMIL is off on a three week trip, and I have no more day backup for the rest of the week, so whatever it is will have to be an evening swim." SWIMMING is such fun for Nicholas. He plays so hard, and yesterday he was one TIRED kid...

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties have been good kitties today - even Lola. Fancy that! Lola played with the boys in the morning yesterday before we headed on out to the pool. Bug checked out William a few times. It's nice that each boy seems to have their own special kitty here. Nicholas mentioned Mannie again yesterday morning. Said he misses him, but knows he's happy, that Mannie's Garden is a cool place. Wow on that.I'm glad hes till remembers his very special friend. They were such a pair for close to two years. Nicholas did crash after swimming yesterday so I hauled all 32 pounds of him off to bed so he could get a good nap in his bed. Lola showed up for that, sat with him for a while. There are times when she can be such a sweet kitty, very calm and affectionate. cat_pet_icon It was a nice mellow day here yesterday in MusketeerVille. AWESOME!

Have a great day everyone. It is another Nicholas and William day today. I hope to take the boys up to a river as Nicholas asked for one yesterday. He has such fun there that it is no surprise he asks to go back. I will see how weather and temp patterns develop and then pick a spot. Who knows - Nicholas may have already decided where we are going! ;-) The weather yesterday was said to be good for today, cool but with sun, so I hope we can make the trip. :-D I will try and get to condos when I can.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Hi, Michelle, what a fun day yesterday! (42?!? brrrrrrr)
I love that Mannie's memory lives on ~ Nicholas will never forget that special guy ♥
I also love that each DGS has his "own kitty." It's always interesting to see which pets are drawn to which kiddos.
Enjoy your day today!

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O) YUPP! 42!!! More of the same today - it is fall here, and I just have to accept it that the mornings we will be in the 40's/sometimes 30's. Still darn cool! Me too on Nicholas and Mannie. Still so amazing to me that he remembers. Me too on the kitties: one for each. it is nice how hat worked out. THX on today - fun times await!

Hi Michelle. It sounds like you had another fun day with Nicholas. I wasn't even aware that the Mickey Mouse Club was still on TV. Do the residents of MusketeervVille watch MMC?

Have a great day Michelle.

Yikes on those temps (I am SOOOO not ready for winter), but it sounds like another wonderful day with the boys! I love how little kids will push through exhaustion to do what they want to do!

Don't get too comfy about that calm and mellow Lola...I bet she's saving up for something big!

Have a great day, Michelle!

Hi Michelle,
Sorry to miss your condo for the past few days; I did really enjoy seeing your photos of your hike on Sunday. Glad to hear today that Nicholas had a great pool day yesterday (despite the windows being open in 40-degree weather!). Neat that he got in on that class! I'll bet he can't wait to take a class.

Enjoy your river day today.

Ella & Rusty

Elsa, your ~O) every morning while my sister was here was so appreciated. Thank you, Kitteh Barista!

Hey Lil Bit,

So let's party like its 1999!

Signed Maui the Magnificent

Cool weather, but it sounds gorgeous! Steam coming off the water must have been nice. Too bad the little kids got so cold though.

Have fun on hte river, whichever one it is.

What a great post! Sounds like Nicholas and William are growing like weeds .. before you know it Nicholas will be in the swim class of 4 and 5 year olds and William will be doing the flips a safe distance from him :-D

That's so neat that Nicholas wants to show William things and talk to him. They'll be so much fun when William gets a little older.

How neat that Nicholas still remembers Mannie. They had such a special bond. I wonder if Mannie whispered in Lola's ear to check on Nicholas while he was sleeping?

Hi Everybody! I hope your day has been a good one. ours was another one for the books... I so need roller blades and a carton of 5 Hr Energy!   In all seriousness, we did have a wonderful day on the Snoqualmie River, and at the train museum nearby. We made this river trip a few weeks ago, and Nicholas likes it so much that we repeated it,and probably will many more times. We went to the Snoqualmie near Twin falls today. What a really great day.It was cool when we got there, warm enough by the time we'd ht the sandy bank part. Sun was out too, a huge plus. William managed to stay awake for most of it, only one major head bob for the last portion. ;-) We were overtaken by a field trip of third graders. omg..... by the bus load.... thank gawd they were headed up to the falls, so we had most of the time on the river to ourselves. :-D Nicholas had a great time. He really explored alot today, told me stories about the things he saw. I love that part: it's all very whimsical, but he really has a great imagination. We threw a ton of rocks, floated more sticks than I could count, and waded just as often. I had to laugh: we went through three pant changes, he was that soaked. Fun fun times! On the way home I stopped in at Snoqualmie, city proper, so he could visit the train museum there. He really likes that place, as it allows for one on one with the trains. They have several parked on tracks that are not used. Nicholas was down and dirty, touching all he could from train wheels to hook ups to pistons, to tracks. Ate lunch number two in the park near the tracks. Sheshhh - what fun for him. The excitement was way cool. Once again I got stories about all the trains, what they did, where they'd been, who was the conductor. You gotta love it. Fantastic day! I will post the Picassa inks in tomorrow's condo.

Hi John - that I did. I love them all, no matter where we go. LOL on the Mickey Mouse Club. They have made a new one for the little kids: animated cartoons. it's great, they teach something each time, and he really likes it. The residents of MusketeerVille were nowhere to be seen.... silly kitties they don't know what they are missing.

Hi Amy - I so know on those temps. we are for sure getting colder, and none of us here want the cold that comes with it, it "that white stuff" . TH=his is so true: "I love how little kids will push through exhaustion to do what they want to do!" and he does, time and time again. oh eys on Lola: tonight WWIII over a used bag of turkey lunch meat. She wnated it,nad would not take NO for an answer.   :?

Morning Ella - no worries on the condos. It is the same for me, and I know you were very busy this weekend. THX on the pics! It was so nice there. The pool was fun for him, despite the window thing. :? He did have such fun pretending e was in that class. nice that the instructor didn't seem to mind a tag along.  THX on today - it was great!
Auntie Ella - you are SO WELCOMES! I am so glads your sister likes my brews. She is mega cool! ~~ Elsa, Lil BITY, kitteh barista

MAUI! GF! You got it! I so lubs the tune water too. I saved us a bunch! Elsa, Lil BIT PIT, ready to party!

Hi Ann - It was so pretty! GORGEOUS for sure. The steam on the pool water was kinda cool. I liked it, despite the temp. kinda fun! Yupp on the kids, not alot stayed that day. Affirmative on the river. Great day to be there: sunny, pretty! Today: Snoqualmie!

Hi Devon - thanks for the visit! THX too on the post. yes, very much so on nicholas and William. I like this!: "before you know it Nicholas will be in the swim class of 4 and 5 year olds and William will be doing the flips a safe distance from him" A for sure!!

Hi Carla - I think so too on Nicholas and William. it is so cool to watch him do that, or tell him it's OK when he cries. really kinda cool! I am so glad that he remember Mannie,. and ya know - i do believe that was the case. Mannie asked Lola to do that. The thought did cross my mind.
