Last Night:
369 PMPS
241 +5
192 +10

I did take the kittys outside before AMPS, and J.D. just wanted to eat some grass, so I pretty much just brought him back inside. He ate most of his 1st Breffis and is laying in his little kitty bed. I just went to check on him and put the remainder of his 1st Breffis in the bed with him and he is finishing it.

Last night he was a purring loudly. I take the blanket and put it over his head and just rub all over his head with it and he just loves it.

I might take him in to get some bloodwork today, if there are any appointments available. I have his bloodwork appointment set for 11/10, but I think I might get it done a month early just for peace of mind.

He's in the CPC!!!!!

And then he ate some more! :-D Keep it up, J.D.

Re: 10/15 J.D. AMPS 254, +2 387

J.D. ate his 2nd Breffis of FF. And, I broiled him some steak this morning, so he'll probably fill up on that the rest of the day. It sure makes him animated, knowing there's steak to be had.

Re: 10/15 J.D. AMPS 254, +2 387, +5 186 at Vet, +6 169

The vet is right around the corner from my house, so as soon I got there, I took J.D. out of his carrier and held him in the waiting room, trying to prevent him from peeing, which was successful.
The vet said his pee had no white cells or blood in it. His USG is something/23 and was something/24 in June.
The last USG he had was in 06/11 and it was something/40. I don't know what the something was, sorry.
I'll get the results of the blood work back, tomorrow.

All that prodding and poking at the vet, gave J.D. an appetite. He ate almost a full can of FF (the equivelant of 4 meals) when we got home. He shared just a little with his sister. J.D. I want you to eat like that in the mornings, before mommy has to go to work!

Off to do errands..

Re: 10/15 J.D. AMPS 254, +2 387, +5 186 at Vet, +6 169

J.D. got steak after testing at +8 165, and I've never noticed him purring for a treat like that. He kept grabbing my hand for more. That's his new trick is to grab my hand at testing time for more treats. And I always give more.

Right now, it's raining outside and he wants to go out. But if I let him out and he comes back in with wet paws and then uses the litter box, it's paw washing. Okay, it's only drizzeling, I guess I'll let him out. What else are days off for?

I'm glad everything went well with J.D.'s vet visit. I hope you get good bloodwork results tomorrow.

 good trick with taking him out of the carrier! :thumbup MUCH better than having him go in there and not have anything left to test! YOU are SUCH a smart Mama Bean!!!
Glad he ate...sounds as if you guys are having a very good day...hugs to you all!

He's doing it again. Not eating. He acted all hungry and was chasing Ginger and then yowling afterward, which is something he does when he's hungry, and I had company over. I gave him a few freeze dried salmon, but then decided to test him a little early (almost +11.75) and was going to feed him and shoot. He and Ginger both licked the juices out of their 1st Dinner and left it. I added some miralax to J.D.'s leftovers and Ginger went over and ate it all up
I gave him some Ondansetron and Pepcid at +1, and at +1.5 opened a can of FF Tuna Feast and he ate most of that.
I added a dab of FF Medleys (the kind without rice or gravy) and he ate it all.

I did think he was doing really well until we went to that other vet to get his blood pressure checked. That was 10/01.
When I looked back at his spreadsheet, I guess I thought he was acting so good, that I quit giving him the Ondansetron and Pepcid on 10/01, and almost ever since then, he's been off in his eating. I keep thinking that he won't need those two drugs someday.. I guess it's not time yet.
