WCR: Buzz has been a little whiny today but seems to be feeling fine. Sometimes I think she just likes to remind me who's really the boss around here. ;-) The windows are open and she's had her requisite time in the sun on the window seat. Right now she's polishing off the rest of civvie Eve's +8 snack, so I'd say her appetite is good, as usual. :smile:
I've had a day full of errands and cleaning, and tonight some girlfriends are coming over for girls' night. I have chili in the Crock Pot, saltine toffee bars cooling in the fridge, and some tasty libations at the ready. Buzz is taking advantage of the celebration and has invited any and all kitties to come party at her place. There will be a fire in the firepit, and I hear there might even be some roasted mice. Come one, come all! I'll be here to keep an eye on any diving kitties, so don't worry.
ETA: Just a few minutes ago, Buzz saw a squirrel outside and busted through the screen window to get him. I leave windows open when I leave the house all the time, and it terrifies me to think what would have happened if I weren't here when she escaped. I won't be leaving windows open any more, that's for sure! Now if I can get my heart rate back down to normal, we'll all be good.
