So after a LOVELY +4 last night  we're bouncing, bouncing, bouncing back up.

We leave this afternoon for vacation, with a house-sitter taking care of the family while we're gone. She'll be administering shots, but no testing. We're not too worried right now, since she's still bouncing so much and settling in with her renewed insulin regimen. We have a VERY THOROUGH set of vacation instructions for the sitter of what to watch out for in case of an insulin crisis. We'll be back in 9 days and will do a full curve and go from there.

Sienne- thanks for the info on the neopolydex- had NO IDEA it was a steroid. <slaps self of wrist for not being more diligent> Luckily, she was only on that for 5 days, and has been off it for 7 days now. Last antibiotic was yesterday morning.

What is it with Vesta and relapsing right before vaca? Drama kitty.

Hope you're all good and wishing everyone lots of greens today!

Hi guys .. oh a bounce for sure this morning! I'm sure she will be fine while you are on vacation, in good hands with her pet sitter so go off and enjoy yourself .. have a great time!

Re: 10/14 Vesta AMPS~458

Vesta must of gotten wind of the beans plans to desert her, so she stressed herself right into high numbers! She'll be in good hands. Enjoy your vacation!

The luggage always gets the kids wigged out!

I feel better leaving with numbers like this... she can head into the land of blues and greens when we get back and have a closer eye on her! At least she's getting her meds and everything, and we live in a town with a HUGE veterinary school so she'll be fine if there's an emergency.

Take care, everyone... see ya when we get back!
