5 P's are in place- Sadly, our outdoor play sessions are coming to an end due to lousey weather! But our purring sessions are making up for it.

I feel like a bad cat mother again! I have learned here that many cats go lower at night and that to protect against this, it is wise to get spot checks for every marker on the SS. But I have been lazy and negligent. Well, Tiger has surprised me at +9 a couple of times now, as you can see, who says the nadir is at +6?? Guess I better get my act in gear and get more spot checks late in the cycle! ohmygod_smile Clearly, she has been clearing the bounces at the craziest times and I need to step it up if I ever want to catch her in green numbers!

Sorry for the late condo- I have been pre-occupied, we had company last week(my sister and BIL) and now I feel like all of a sudden the American Thanksgiving Holiday is coming up and since I host the dinner, I gotta get the house cleaned up  In other news, I am planning on a fall hike this coming weekend. I had ordered the PetSafe feeder from Amazon early last week, and naturally, it isn't here yet  so there might not be time to see if Tiger will use the thing! If she doesn't take to our new "Otto", I guess I'll have to stay home.

Sending healing vines to all kitties and humans in need!

you might start using it for every meal as soon as it gets here and hopefully Tiger will adapt to it quickly. Punkin was very suspicious of it at first - he was a bit of a scaredy cat! But he quickly figured out that it held the good stuff, and got over the concern about the auto's noisy rotation. I hope Tiger does too!

Have a wonderful hike. Baaa on the Thanksgiving prep - it's 6 weeks away! ya gotta enjoy yourself before then! ;-) :-D

Thank you Julie, I hope Tiger will learn to use it- she is a fraidy cat at times  It's nice to see you posting here, I know you were preparing for a wedding, hope it hasn't been too awfully stressful for you! I wasn't even that involved with my nephews wedding, but it got hectic!

Hi Ruth, I got my Petsafe 5 at Petsmart. Neko took to it right away, but it's quieter than her old Otto.

One thing I found with Neko on Lantus, if she was up at +3 from her Preshot, then her nadir was later. Might want to see if Tiger follows that pattern too.

my oldest daughter got married last Sunday - it was wonderful, crazy, exhausting and perfect. Family began coming in on Friday and the last left at 11pm last night. OY VEY. But it really was perfect. My 3 kids are all tall - that daughter is 5' 9.5" and her new husband is about 6.5' tall and quite big. He swaggered down the aisle in a kilt (he's 1/2 Irish) and black boots looking like the epitome of a macho man. Then when my daughter and husband walked in, he started to dissolve and was trying not to cry while he watched her come down the aisle.

Is aything as wonderful as a sensitive man? He even tells ME he loves me! They are so in love - it was just a perfect wedding. Then we had 40 family members to our house for the wedding "feast" afterwards, which was ridiculously crowded but also wonderful. There is still a bit of a mess left in the kitchen but i'm dealing with that tonight by not going in there.

Couldn't have been better - but oh, I am so tired today! :-D Fortunately we don't have any more weddings in the near future!

Patience, Grasshopper. It's only Tuesday. There's still time for the feeder to arrive and be test driven. I'm sure Tiger will figure it out quickly. Just be sure to use her favorite food in it when you first introduce it to her. That should do the trick.

You are not a bad bean. You are just human. This is all a learning experience and the lessons never end. BTW, her nadir might have been at +6 and that +9 might have been on her way back up! There's a thought to make you go    !

Julie cracks me up. I don't get how her new DSIL was wearing a kilt if he's Irish - kilts are Scottish!   But it sounds like a lovely time was had by all and the happy couple really is just that. Good for them.

If your house is anything like mine, cleaning it now will not help you when Thanksgiving comes - it'll need cleaning again by then (at least that's the excuse I use for not cleaning now. ;-) )! So kick by and relax - you can get a head start by making lists.
