Simon is doing well this morning, all P's in place. The only thing bad he has done is continue to poop on the carpet in my living room. I thought it was because I changed the type of litter I was using, but he has started back with the pooping again. Very aggravating. This happened before and the way I got him to stop doing it was to put his food bowl on the spot he was defecating on and feed him there. I always heard that animals won't eat where they go to the bathroom (might be an old wives tale) but at least it worked. I'm going to try it again starting today.
Just got back from Cleo's vet visit. She was such a good girl and the vet was pleased at how well she is doing. She was exactly the same weight she was 3 months ago, so that is good. I know with CRF kitties that it is important they continue to eat and not lose weight. Blood was drawn and urine sample attempted. She peed just when they were trying to draw the urine up, so they only got a small sample. Hopefully, that will be enough. I don't want to make her go back again so soon. She does need a dental but I am so nervous about how I am going to pay for it. How does everyone do it with all the expensive tests, etc.? I wish I had pet insurance!
Have a great weekend, y'all!
