Good morning everyone! Ruby tested at 338 this morning after her dose was increased last night to U 2.0. I fed her and while she ate I gave her her shot and she threw it all up afterwards. She might come back again to eat some more, but concerned about the puking. Is this common after a dose increase? Liver/pancreas freakout?

I don't have any advice to offer other than seeing if she'll eat again. Hoping Ruby feels better soon. She's beautiful

What a precious face she has! :D
Nice job getting that curve the other day.

I doubt it has anything to do with the increase, so don't worry about that. Scarf and barf, perhaps? It's good that she was asking for more food. Could you slow her down when she eats maybe feed her smaller amounts at different hours through the morning? Sorry if you are already doing that. I haven't been keeping up much on the board lately.

I have an autofeeder for Butters and split her morning food and and evening food into five portions apiece. Something to consider.

Have a great day!

I have been feeding her ½ can in the morning and ½ in the evening, but she usually chomps down most of it in one go, leaving a bit for an afternoon snack. You're right, I should break it down into 4 meals, ¼ can each time with a few dry kibbles in between if she cries for it as a snack.

I think that would be helpful for her :). It is generally better for the kitties to give them smaller meals throughout the day.
And I feel you on the grey hairs. When I first started testing Butters it took me and her three weeks (!) to get the hang of it. You are doing awesome!!!

Super happy with the results today from the dose increase. After her throw up this morning she ate well the rest of the day and though she spent much of the afternoon lolling about in bed, she's come out to hang out with us in the living room this evening. Hoping she will have a nice poop tonight and all will be good. Good night all!
