I was talking to my mom about Ming’s decreased appetite and maybe it’s because of the lack of steroids?

He still eats but he hasn’t been begging for food the last few days. Usually if I’m asleep, he’ll bother me for food or even around this time, at +3, he’ll go sit on the table and beg.

But right now, he’s just lounging and walking around playing with his toys.

He’s much better today vs. Yesterday. Not hiding but also not as social. But he’s playing and eating.

I palpated his stomach and he felt comfortable.

Well, nothing much I can do besides drive myself insane with paranoia haha!

Playing with toys sounds good! It would make sense the lack of steroids are making him less hungry, like Chris said. They can easily cause people to put on weight from increased appetite, so I hope it's actually a good thing for Ming that he's not as hungry. And don't drive yourself crazy with worry; too many people already do that (not me:woot:). You need to stay sane:joyful:

HAHA!!! You're absolutely right!! It's been a whole year since his last hospitalization and I guess I still have flashbacks from the months prior from joining FDMB when he would be hospitalized for pancreatitis almost every month!

My mom said the same thing! She hopes the decreased appy helps him lose weight and help his diabetes a little better.
