Yesterday was............ yellow and blue in MannieLand. Rumor has it that the Blue Mannie Group was playing live at Rusty's in upper New York State, rocking out on the porches, jammin' by the wood stove.... :cool: It was good to see Mannie find the blues for a decent mid-level blue surf yesterday. I hope this means he is settling into the dose reduction, aka the return to diving low green high carb cycles. Remember Mannie: think Blue, think green! LUBS ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D The weather her has been just awful - since Friday afternoon, and is set to only get worse over the next few days. Today the winds are supposed to join all that rain. sheshhhh.... just a week ago I was writing about sunny weeks and 70 degree temps. :shock: Yesterday Mannie didn't even want to poke his nose out the door. :lol: :lol: Can't say that I blame him on that one... We had a sun break for maybe 10 minutes in the afternoon, aka the calm before the monsoon, and he considered it. The nose and the whiskers made it out, but not much more than that. The winds were starting to pick up and his whiskers were blowing all over the place. :lol: :lol: :lol: Made me laugh... He however was not amused, and retreated to the nanner pile, all of which got hugs, slobbers and a few chews. :cool: :cool: :cool: This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and a few cuddles. :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. Our weather is awful this weekend - lots of rain, winds and cool temps. I am not too sure what I will do today. More than likely all those chores and cleaning and laundry that lay waiting... and waiting... and waiting.... Hopefully the rains will let up during the day so I can get a shore walk in. :-D looks like Mannie plans on more nanner napping. ;-)

Hey everybody!! What an awesome day yesterday. I had such fun on Rusty's radiators! and the wood stove too. SWEET! We got to make cookies - so so needed while we got all those food prepped for Kizmet's OTJ party. WOO HOO - Florida! where it was sunny and warm and no cold and wet. What do you guys wanna do today? I have an idea... I know, scary... let's go t Disney Land! :-D We could ride rides and and eat corn dogs and all kind of cool stuff. You guys in? let me know - I am ready for anything!! ~~ Mannie

And completely OT: Yesterday I went to a local farm with DD, DSIL, and Nicholas to visit their farm fair and version of a pumpkin patch. it was just so nice: good clean family fun, and a blast for the little kids. Nicolas is so cute walking around the farm! Oh yes, household chores... :evil: :evil: I take it as daily exercise. Because the number of cats at home, I need to daily clean, vacumn of the house. That took me the whole morning. Quite a bit of exercise :lol:
Blue start is good start Mannie, slide into the green!

So sorry about your awful weather Michelle. Hope it soon goes away and some nice cool hiking weather returns. Maggie dipped into blue twice and got in briefly with the Blue Mannie Group before heading back up to yellow. I hope Mannie dips into some greens today but without too much drama. Sweet pics of Nicholas in the pumpkin patch, what fun. I always enjoy the FB links. Have a good day and hope you get a brief clearing of weather today.

Mannie, outstanding job on the menu ans food at Kismet's OTJ party and fun time on Rusty's porch. Disneyland sounds like a great thing to do today. I love all the rides. See ya soon, Mags

Hi Helen ~O) ~O) ~O) - Yes. the farm was fun - he had a really good time. oh my on your morning vacuum :shock: , but can see that too wit the number of kitties there. :-D thanks on Mannie. I hope that after this visit to the yellows that he will remember blues and greens are so better.

Wow, another coffee-inspired dessert from Chef Mannie!! I would love it as a dessert, but I couldn't drink it as COFFEE (which I prefer strong and black)!

Great shots of Nicholas at the farm. He was certainly having a good time, even away from water.

I hope your weather improves, Michelle. It looks like we are getting the same thing. It would be nice (for us) if you kept it by you!!!

Wonderful pictures! I love pumpkin hunting and corn mazes. I can't wait until my DGD is a few years older to run through the mazes. Stinks about the weather.

Michelle, Its always great to hear about normalcy in Mannieland! :-D Chef Mannie put on a great feast for Kismet, he must be getting really busy with all the OTJ action coming up here.
Our cats are all afraid of real bananas, must be the smell I guess, one sniff and away they go. I am seriously thinking about getting a pile of nanners for our gang just to see them finally enjoy the scary fruit :lol: Enjoy your afternoon!

Mannie is doing a great job settling into that dose. I can imagine the look on your face at that +6. :o They sure do like to surprise us don't they. I was laughing at your story of Mannie attempting to venture out the door. Same weather and very similar reaction here. Parked by the open door debating for the longest time, until the bean closed the door. The long haired kitties really don't like having their fur fussed with by the wind.

Such a cute picture of farmer Nicholas in his overalls. He fit right in and he sure is starting to look more grown up.

Hi Leslie - I so thrive on Normalcy in MannieLand. lol: no upset apple carts here, though Mannie does try his hardest to throw em a curve ball now and then... :lol: :lol: And YES on Chef Mannie - he has been very busy consulting his vast array of cookbooks, in between all those naps... ;-) Too funny on your brood and the real bananas. I've never tried to see what Mannie or Elsa would think of them. hmmmmm... awesome on nanners for your brood. I wonder what they would do... :-D :lol: :lol: maybe try one and see!

Hi Wendy - that he is. It';s taken a few, but he is getting there. Perhaps the jump start we gave him last week helped. He's been better since then. it is great to see these blues return - we've even had a few greens. YAY! Oh yes on that +6. I so did not expect to see that. :shock: :shock: :shock: it was funny to watch Mannie's reaction to the weather. Funnier now that I know Neko was similar. THX on the pic of Nicholas - he looked so cue in his overalls. The plaid shirt just made it all work, that and the boots. :lol: :lol: oh ye s- a little boy for sure - it really is starting to show in his photos.
