Good morning,
Yesterday's condo
10/13 AMPS=121; +2=88; +3=83; +4.5=97; +6.5=121
10/13 PMPS=130; +2=108; +4=131
10/14 AMPS=128; +2=149; +4.5=135; +7.75=144
10/14 PMPS=131; +2.25=83; +3.5=94; +5=110
Lucy is feeling good.
Her appetite is good, not super good, but she ate happily by finger-feeding although she didn't ask for it.
She hasn't pooped today yet,
*** 10 minutes later ***
I was wrong.
She she came and asked for food, and now is eating her last bit of breakfast by herself.
Silly girl.
I skipped her +1 breakfast this morning, because I wanted to sleep in, and it seems she could tell she ate less this morning.
She got a dosecrease this morning to 1 unit.
On her SS, it looks like I gave her a full 0.25 unit increase, but it's actually a lot smaller increase.
I started using calipers today.
After doing a lot of testing over the weekend, I found that the distance between lines on my BD syringes were consistent, but the location of line zero varied between syringes.
Some had the line at the actual zero location, but most of them had it below the actual zero, so when I pushed the plungers, the top rubber thing went beyond the line zero.
This means I was giving more insulin than I thought I was, probably varied between 0.75 unit and 1 unit, when I was thinking I was drawing 0.75 unit.
So today's increase is barely an increase, but it's good I got this chance to sort of reset the dosing.
Maybe her numbers will improve by getting 1 unit more consistently......
I hope everyone's having a nice day.
And Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in Canada!
