Good morning and Happy Friday to all. We send our thoughts and prayers to Linda and Teddy. May their time this weekend be full of love, light, and peace. Also sending healing vines to Garland, Zoe, Apollo, Jetta, Rocket, and Leo.

Gracie is feeling fine as frog's hair today. I caught Lil Stinka up on her little plush hind legs with her front paws hooked on the pot with Teddi's rose and then quickly.....whack!! And then she'd look at me slyly. We've been happy with how quickly she has cleared her bounces so far. I'm hoping she will let us have some dose stability so perhaps she will stop bouncing but gee.....we've wanted THAT for a year now!

Boy did I get huge snuggles last night. When we went to bed, Gracie decided she wanted to start out on Mike's pillow but then she went to her condo in our room. Tobey took the advantage of her being gone to snuggle into my arms and purr us to sleep. But then I woke up with Gracie chirping and purring and NOT happy that Tobey was in her very special spot....my arms. She stood there a minute as if staring at him would make him leave but he wasn't budging. So she plopped down on Mike's pillow...and the tail...plop plop plop with righteous indignation. Tobey finally got too warm and moved and Gracie was curled up in his spot in my arms in a flash :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Stereo purring ensued as he was on the other side of me. This morning when I woke up, I started talking softly to her and she actually put her paw right over my mouth as if to say "uh...HELLO...MORNING BREATH!!". :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

The infection at Tobey's extraction site seems to be abating but his gum was so proliferative that they are going to have to debride it on Monday with a local. It doesn't seem to bother him but it's just one more thing our poor baby boy has to deal with. He's so good and patient.

Hope you all are having a great day. Gracie has given me permission to run out and do errands so I'll just have to check back in later and visit your condos then....I suspect she will give me a slow slide into blue (hope hope hope).

Oh wow! Stereo purring!! How can you possibly get out of bed with that happening??

Ouch on the debriding! Poor baby's mouth!

Hi guys .. what a great report! I love the stereo purring (who wouldn't?) And I love hearing that gracie is clearing her bounces so quickly .. I am sorry to hear about tobey's little mouth :sad: I hope before to long he can be rid of all this mess ... have a great weekend guys!

How sweet.....stereo purring!!! I get the "LOOK" :shock: :roll: from Zoe, if I happen to be laying in what she considers her spot on the bed.....she will stand on her steps and chirp, then outright yell if I don't move or don't move fast enough!! Gotta love 'em.....

Sorry about poor little Tobey's mouth.... :sad: .....he will do well with you caring for him.

Miss Gracie sure has the attitude going. How awful that Tobey was in her special spot! Cleo always sleeps right next to my chest and gets very upset if Simon is anywhere near that spot. What a nice way to wake up with purrs in both ears.

Tee hee.... Princess Gracie wouldn't be herself if she wasn't reminding you that SHE is the baby!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Willie and Miss Belle used to do cuddle swaps all night... Willie would start, but would storm off in a huff when Miss Belle would butt her way in, at which point I swear she would giggle. Willie would sneak back in for cuddles in the middle of the night when he thought no one was looking. These kids!!!

Hoping that Gracie comes down from the yellows soon.... is nice to see here gliding down gently there instead of bouncing into pinks!

A note for that fine boy Tobey: be brave on Monday and when you get home you'll fine a cimmamum slurpy surprise waiting for you in the 'fridge. Auntie Ella lubs you!

Hi guys, Great report today. That stereo purring must be really wonderful to experience. We're monaural here, but pretty loud. Enjoy the weekend.

Glad you had the gum checked. Hope it's all cleared by Monday--And look at Gracie doing so great today(got tired being so yellow girl?)

Awww...stereo purring can't be beat! Poor Tobey...I hope his little mouth is better ASAP.

I have never heard "feeling fine as frog's hair" before, but it is now a permanet part of my vocabulary :lol: !

and the slow slide into blue looks more like a slide, jerk & wiggle into green!!!
 
Whew...all done for the moment.

So true Celi....I thought a slide...she had other thoughts. Stupid me....she hasn't done this yet on lev where she zoom zoomed at the end of her cycle and I still have my lantus mentality that if she's coming down that fast from clearing a bounce, that I need to slow it down so I fed her a tiny bit of 4% at +10. Mission accomplished but I just wanted to slow her down...not stop her. Her nadir appears to be somewhere around +12 but it has been as late as +15 and at the rate she was dropping, I didn't want to battle getting her up before she onset. It would help if she would be a little consistent (she says "Qui??? Moi???)". Next time she does this, I'm just going to check her every 30 mins and see what she does before I offer her a tiny LC snack. AND I can't believe the LC could have had that big of an effect...

They will give Tobey a local and she said since the proliferative gum has no nerves or blood supply, it shouldn't hurt him. He is very excited about being brave for his favorite Auntie Ella!!

Glad you like the "feeling fine as frog's hair" Amy.....I do believe that is the remnant Texan in me :lol: :lol:
 
nice day for Gracie - even made the green lagoon. What a good kitty to give you the day to do as you needed and wanted. I love permission slips! I hoe you had a good time.

Too cute too on the bookend purrers!

Gracie has had quite the interesting cycle today. Nice PMPS!
 
Nice day for Gracie, I'm sure this is just the Lev cycle doing it's thing and she will be right back down. I'm glad that Tobey's gums are doing a little better,poor little boy, he deserved to have cuddles last night.
 
Marje I've been gone for a few but have been thinking about Tobey and wondering what was transpiring with the tooth. I was thinking if it was still inflamed, that I would probably check back in....But sounds like that's just what you did and that they're going to go in and get rid of the problem - I'm glad to hear it's being resolved for you!
