Not sure what's up with that # this a.m. The only things that I'm guess is that a) I may have just a bit earlier than normal (fed just before 10 since bean was tired); or b) she got into some contraband that I wasn't aware of. Don't think it's the insulin as it hasn't been a month yet.

Just out of curiosity, how long CAN a pen last anyway?

Hi guys .. not a bad start to the day angela .. I know you were hoping for green or a lower blue, but still in nice healing number ranges .. We only ever got about 28 days out of a pen with mocha .. her numbers were start to rise almost instantly .. hope you guys have a great weekend!

Hi Angela, still not a bad AMPS and a nice +1, but I know you are used to lower ranges. I use the vial of Lantus, and so far I'm on my third month.

I'll be getting another test +3. She could either go up, or down. :lol: I'm guessing.... the former. 'Tis only a guess here. :lol: That's a heck of a drop there, Miss Blackie. What's your intention today, huh?

morning!! Nice start for Blackie - always great numbers!! I used to get a little over a month out of a pen, but have heard others get longer, some do not. Have a great day!

Blackie is keeping you on your toes today. We used to get about 35 days on a Lantus pen before deciding to change it before it might poop out. It looks like your pen is just fine!!
