Neko and I are still getting used to the Otto (feeder)-less mornings. After breffs she lay down on her bed where she usually does Otto watch, but there is no Otto there! :o Her internal clock is still set to Otto timings and the yelling starts almost exactly on time. :roll: Btb just doesn't work as well without Otto. One of my goals today is to get a replacement feeder. Paws crossed someone has one in stock.

OT: Theo seems to be putting more weight on his foot. Seems to be getting better.

Happy Thanksgiving Monday for those in Canada. Today is turkey soup making day. :cool: Sending vines to kitties and beans in need. Soup might be what you need.

Nice blues for Neko. I hope you can get an Otto replacement today. I bet that's driving Neko, and you, crazy. I hope Theo's foot continues to get better.

I saw in the SS that Neko's been getting Turkey too. How appropriate. It made me smile.

I am sorry that Theo hurt his foot....
I'm glad it's getting better. Sending some healing vines to him.
I hope you found a replacement auto-feeder today.

And the blue theme continues! We have a new Otto(feeder) down on the floor. I got the Petsafe 5 this time. So much easier to program than the Qpet. Neko is staring at the new Otto. Can hardly wait to see her reaction at +1 when Otto starts up. This one makes a different sound.

Theo continues to improve. He's on my arms kneading my chest with both his front paws so using that front one more and more. Still a bit of a limp, but I think I can forgo the vetty visit. DH took apart the old Otto and discovered that some of the motor windings were burnt out. As if something (like a cat paw :roll: ) had blocked the motor from turning and caused it to burn out.

@Carla, ((Mariko)), Laura - thanks for visiting and sending Theo vines. I phoned around and found a Petsmart over town that had the autofeeder. My local one seems always out of what I need. :roll: Tonight we get to enjoy leftover Thanksgiving again. :-D The smell of turkey soup is driving the furred ones crazy. I might have slipped them a couple pieces of turkey. :lol:
 
Happy Thanksgiving, Wendy! I made turkey soup a couple of nights ago in the crock pot overnight, and the cats were just about tearing the sheets off of us in the morning. :lol: It sounds like Theo's feeling better and Otto's brother is back in place, so lots to be thankful for this year.

I'm thankful, too, for all your visits and help for Clare and me. We so appreciate your support!

Yay for the arrival of Otto II. How did Neko react when it turned? I like the Petsafe one very much, and so does Cinco. I hope Neko will love hers as much as the old Otto.

Mmmm. I love turkey soup on a cold day. The smell drives my kitties nuts, too. :lol:

Neko looked very pretty in blue today. I'll bet she would look even prettier in green tomorrow! ;-)
