Morning and waiting on Mannie's special brew! I didn't post Maggie's numbers, so as to shorten her condo. Maggie seems in a really good mood. We're back up to yellow, but I'm not too surprised with Maggie free feeding and also experimenting with new food. I thought she was about to surprise me with a prezzie, as she was chatting and energetic. Earlier she went under the bed, and I was hoping it was not to deliver the prezzie. I checked and no prezzie. So she's acting like a big tease. Detective Poo and Detective Crapdash, it seems the Magster is still holding out on us. I tried to copy that cute pic in last night's condo, but it didn't quite pan out here, so I posted a pic of Maggie sleeping below.

Have a nice day everyone. It is to be in the low 70's. I need to make a trip to Vetty for some Maggie meds. It just so happens to be near one of my fav coffee/vitamin shops. There's also a Walmart and Food for Less store.

Thanks for the late nite visits, and sorry for missing you.

Roni, I'm beginning to see a pattern with Maggie's numbers coinciding with her constipation and meds. She's getting some new lower phosphorus food, too, so that is throwing her numbers off a bit.

Detective Poo and Chief Inspector Crapdash love the kitty poo emoticon. No poo yet though! Maggie is being a big tease with me! :?

Deborah & Shasta, thanks for the little poo dance. Maggie loves it. Did I read somewhere Shasta was having poo problems, or was that another kitty?

Marje, numbers are getting a little lower. I can see I will need to keep adding a drop after so many cycles just to keep her out of the pinks. Car is fixed, and next thing I need are new tires, soon I think, and a part time job if anyone is hiring. Fluids are going well, except for removing the needle and cap in one piece! I tried leaving the knobby thingy loose, which works but there's a little leakage onto Maggie. Not too much though, so that may be the solution!

Awwww Maggie-Mags, what a sweet sleeping picture. Like she feel asleep before she got that last leg onto the pillow! I also placed an order at Cafe Mannie's for a brew. Tough getting started today - tired! Hopefully Maggie gets the poopies worked out a little better (ouch that was a terrible pun!) so her numbers settle down. Have a good day and get your errands done nicely with a coffee treat.

Thanks Lisa on the pic. I didn't quite get the pillow case on before Mags hopped onto the pillow, and I just let her sleep! That's a little day bed I have fixed up for her lounging. Oh you will love all of Mannie's brew from Cafe Mannie! :lol:
Thanks and I sure hope so, too, on the poopies! She had fluids yesterday, so hopefully that will also move things along.

Back up again. I think this is due to me giving her about 2/3 tsp. Gerber bf with Miralax, trying to get her to go today. What helps one thing may jerk up another thing (bg), but I think she will come back down. I will look for the ham Beechnut today.

Thanks Ella on the pic and my juggling act! Even my Vet called yesterday asking how I'm doing with Maggie and giving suggestions on how to get her to eat some low phosphorus, as well as watching her diabetes. Maggie is such an easy going kitty not fighting anything. The only thing she doesn't care for is the Lactulose, although the taste isn't too bad when they compound it and chicken flavor.

Thanks Mannie for that Mannie Express delivery on that coffee. just the bestest ever! Now I feel wide awake enough to even take a walk. Thanks, too, on the managing of everything and juggling. Yes, I plan on stopping at that coffee shop. They make the best chocolate smoothie with Espresso, soy milk, dark chocolate and some vitamins that they add, too. I'll have to remember the ingredients. We did have two days of rain which we neeeded, but today is milk, low 70's, nice!

Hope that's just a reaction to a food or a med. and Maggie gets bluer today.

:shock: New food that's good for Maggie's renal disease and low phosphorus but not so good for her bg's! I guess less of this one and more of her regular lc. Mags will not eat the Merrick bg Turkey; I gave it one more try!

A very cute picture of Ms. Mags. I love her reddish tummy fur - you can barely see her nekid tummy. Is it covered by orange peach fuzz now?

OK, Miss Maggie, it's time to visit the LB with purpose and then get on down with those numbers. It's the weekend and those aren't the right dress colours for Kismet's OTJ party. Good luck with the food hunt. I have plenty of extra appy here I wish I could send to you.

Hi Carla, thanks on the pic! Yes, her nekid tummy is growing it's orange hair back finally! I know this is not a nice color to wear to Kismet's party. I hope it will be blue.

Wendy, let's hope she gets down to business tonight. The food hunt is a challenge. I just dropped some cans off at Petco in their donation Box for Animeals.
