Morning and a nice start of the day for Maggie. Maggie seems to be feeling her ole self today, except for eating, and had the zoomies, running from the bedroom to living room and back, a couple of round trips. We had play time and a good shot, and she had her bf treat, She insisted on freshly opened fuds. I had some last night's food left over in the frig and warmed it in the microwave and set it down on her placemat. She looked down at it and then up at me with those inquisitive eyes mumbling "oh please, get something fresh"! So I oblige her and open a new can. What's a Bean to do, right! She's not eating that well since yesterday, and I wonder if some of it is the Santa Ana heat. This may be why her numbers are lower. My doctor's appt, went well yesterday. I also had bw with seven tubes of blood drawn. The highlight of my appt. was my doctor brings his beautiful Lab to work. When I went to pet him, he rolled over on his side asking for a belly rub. I love that he brings his dog to work. It will be Maggie's turn on Monday. It's already warm here and will get up to 94 degrees or so, Santa Ana conditions!

I'm so glad to hear that Maggie's doing well this morning. She's looking great, too! I love the zoomies. Perhaps Maggie could teach Blackie how to do the zoomies...? :lol: Hoping for excellent bw for you and Maggie. Have a great day, and try and stay cool. I'm already tired of the heat, and we're going to be close to 90's again soon. UGH!

Too bad we can't bank weather. We could deposit a bit of this heat now and enjoy it in December! I love the zoomies. Weezer never has been a zoomer, but our civie, Doobie, gets the midnight crazies regularily.

94????? shesshhhh.... we are at 46 this morning. Could you send some of that warmth our way? We may hit 55 today. heat wave!

It is a nice start for Maggie this morning. Too funny on the wanting fresh fuds. Mannie could care less... he'll eat anything. One of my civvies however has to have fresh too.

YAY for a good DR appt. ! It is nice that he brings his dog in - I think so anyways. They can do so much for easing the stress patients feel when they go to the DR.

Enjoy your day today - I hope you got out for a walk.

Hi guys .. a nice start indeed for miss maggie though I hope her appy returns .. Perhaps it is just the heat .. I don't even feel like eating when it's 95 degrees out! I hope your BW comes back well .. Peter has to much iron in his blood so he has to go for blood draws where they drain bagfuls out of him :o ick! Have a great day guys!

Hi Michelle, oh gosh your weather does sound cold. I wish our temps would drop and I could send you some of this heat.

Maggie's numbers are looking really good!! Nice to hear she's being so playful, too. Champ tries to get me to open new cans all the time because he things he's too good for leftovers, but I pretend not to notice the cranky looks he gives me. Ijust wait him out....he's such a porker he usually ends up eating it anyway!!!

Oh my goodness that is a picky kitty, fresh fuds?!?! I always tell Leo "you know there are starving kitties all over the world that would give anything to eat like you do" I don't know if the speech actually works, but i like to think it does :lol: :lol:

A very nice day so far for Miss Mags, keep up the good work girl and if i don't stop by on Monday i just wanted to say good luck with the blood draw!

I hope your blood work comes back good too!

I fed some FF T & G after the 91, as I had to leave, and just to get her to eat something, too!

Hi Patty, I know I should let the food sit there longer before opening a fresh can! Maggie knows what a wimp I am to giving to her demands. :lol:

Hi Tracy, thanks for the well wishes on Monday for her bw. Something is going on with her, I suspect.

Maggie's cycle today is much better than the last few days. The FF Turkey & Giblets didn't affect her this time, as it was the only food she would eat! I just tried a new food on Maggie and surprisingly, she likes it, fingers crossed. Is anyone feeding "Nature's Variety Instinct Chicken formula" to their kitties. It's very brothy, too, which she loves.

What a lovely day for the zoom zoom girl!!! I'm glad she is eating tonight and likes her new selections. Hmmmm....see...you could be an AC, too, if you were getting those message from Maggie about a fresh can!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

How nice that your human vetty brings his dog in....that must be therapeutic. That's a lot of blood!!!!! Hope all is ok.

Hi Marje, I think Maggie does like this new food, Nature's Variety's Instinct, Grain, Free, chicken flavor. I found out only Petco sells it, and right now it's on sale for $1.10/can with the Petco card. I checked out Pet direct, but with the $9.99 shipping, it comes to over $38.00 for a case, but then there is the convenience of it coming right to the door. Yes, my human vetty brings his dog in to work. :lol: The sweet dog does have a calming effect.

We hear you on the fuds issue. Jeesh. We do think we are at the point where the kitties are actually eating more than we throw away. Have a good evening!
