Happy Fursday afternoon. Sending many healing vines and prayers for Teddy, Garland, Rocket and just eating/feel better vines to Leo, Zoe, and Apollo. Also hope Melissa is feeling lots better.

Lil G Money had such a lovely day yesterday with Daddy being the BIC (bean in charge). He did a nice job of managing her numbers. Even though we aren't always clear on interpreting her cycle, she has just done so much better on lev. Yesterday and today, she spent the entire days on the catio....it's just catio weather. She was none too happy when I brought her in last night for bed but then she settled into a nice, purry cuddle.

I can't believe I"m so late today getting the condo going. I had an early morning appt, Mike had to leave, I spent way too long on the phone with my DBFF who just got back from FL. AND there was a baby tarantula on the tile backsplash in our kitchen :o :o   The closest door is the one that goes to the garage but I cannot figure out how he made it in a door, across the kitchen, up the cabinets, etc. without us or one of these lazy cats seeing him!   Mike escorted him outside on the dustpan and set him free to find a nice hole to winter in.

It's so nice now that we sleep with our windows open. We walked down to the neighborhood family restaurant for dinner and as we came down the driveway home, we could hear the javelinas; thankfully we brought a flashlight with us because they were right by the driveway and they have little babies so they can be aggressive. When we went to bed last night, we could hear the babies playing because they make little high pitched squeals.

I hope everyone has had a great day.

Hi Marje, what a beautiful cycle for Gracie. Wow, she is doing so much better on the Lev compared to the Lantus and all the dives and long pj parties. Oh my gosh, a baby tarantula on in your kitchen! I'm glad he got such a nice escort from Mike in the tarantula vehicle.  Have a nice day.

Nice cycles for Miss Gracie! (except for that little bounce last night but we won't mention that again)

I saw a small tarantula on my bike ride on Sunday but that was in the forest, not the kitchen. :o And those javelinas are not the prettiest of critters but ALL babies are cute.

Hi Ann: She's had a couple dives but not too many and definitely less pj parties anti jinx. We've actually been joking because she hardly E-V-E-R keeps Mike up all night like she does me. It's almost like "Daddy's gone..time to drop". I told him I think he must giving her karo at night after I go to bed

Liz: yeah...much better in nature than in the kitchen!

Hi guys,
Lovely day for Gracie, coming down so nicely. Good girl! Can you tell Rusty your secret, Gracie?
It sounds like a very interesting natural world you live in. I'll have to look up javelina!!

Tell Tobey that he is welcome to sit by our fireplace anytime. It's too warm right now for a fire, however. But never too warm to eat cimmamum cake!!

Enjoy the evening with the windows open (we've just started to close ours!)

Ella & Rusty

OMG! Tarantula in the kitchen!! I can deal with the Florida critters, but tarantulas!?!! I guess a dead faint could be considered a way of dealing.

Wow, Lil G - great job today! On the baby tarantula - dead faint or running screaming from the house is how I'd deal too! nailbite_smile Good thing Mike hadn't left yet!

Re: 10/13 Gracie PMPS 81

What a nice surf right into PMPS for the little Princess Gracie!!!

Celi: I know!!!! THey are spoiled rotten!!!

Ella: it's her secret alone..she won't even tell me. Tobey said he is headed up to see you after KTSS is done. Javelina's....they look like wild pigs but they are peccaries. Nasty teeth.

LInda:

Anne: Also very funny!!! I don't mind the tarantulas...they are good spiders. It's the black widows that freak me out.

Re: 10/13 Gracie PMPS 81

You go Lil G!   I'll say she is doing well on Lev. I know that tarantulas are good spiders, just glad I've never had one in my kitchen!

I hope she behve for you tonight now that Mike is gone.

Re: 10/13 Gracie PMPS 81

Okay, I totally had to ask the interwebs what a javelina was, and thank heavens the interwebs indeed know all. While from the pics on google, they looked to me to be a cross between a wild boar and a porcupine, wikipedia tells me that a javelina, or peccary (plural peccaries; also javelina and skunk pig; Portuguese javali and Spanish jabalí, sajino or pecarí) is a medium-sized mammal of the family Tayassuidae, or New World Pigs. Peccaries are members of the artiodactyl suborder Suina, as are the pig family (Suidae) and possibly the hippopotamus family (Hippopotamidae).[1] They are found in the southwestern area of North America and throughout Central and South America. Peccaries usually measure between 90 to 130 centimetres (3.0 to 4.3 ft), and a full-grown adult usually weighs between about 20 to 40 kilograms (44 to 88 lb).

This little intellectual excursion was not only highly informative, but it will also score me points with the cute guys in sports bars demographic, as I am now not likely to forget the mascot of Texas A&M Kingsville.

For this, I salute you. :)

Gracie definitely seems to be settling into the Lev very nicely! So nice to see her curve flattening out (not often you hear that said about a girl, eh, lil' g money???   ) Hope you co-BICs have a great night!!!

Re: 10/13 Gracie PMPS 81

Christie: ROTFLMAO!!! And as I'm reading this, the coyotes are howling so that is your next assignment.

I am VERY impressed!!!    And I'm absolutely CERTAIN that there is some guy out in a bar somewhere just waiting for a beautiful, smart lady like you to tell him all she knows about javelinas!!

Re: 10/13 Gracie PMPS 81

New Mexico!!!

Oh wait. Turns out, lobos are wolves, not coyotes. back to the googles....

And you are too sweet. :-D :-D :-D Maybe I'll go off in search of Mr. Sports Bar tomorrow after work. Oh wait. I'm a nerd who has to watch Fringe in real time....

     yes....the lobos are wolves, not coyotes!

And so....our lev rise. Interestingly, on this dose, there have only been two cycles so far where she got her lev rise per the typical curve and then came back down. All the other times, if she got the rise.....up she went.

Time to make it three cycles, Gracie.

Fringe in real time? I am so there! Christie you rock!

sorry Marje - confiscated your condo for a bit... and: so sorry to be so late in visiting you and Gracie. What a wonderful day for Gracie - greens and all!

What a great day for you! It does sound so nice. I really like the sleeping with the windows open. the best!

Lovely numbers for Gracie!

Havelenas are bold and not that easily frightened, by me anyway  . When I lived in NW Tucson they would stroll through our condo complex and visit patios, knocking things over. Morgaine has seen her share of them and would hiss at them through the glass door. One time she hissed at a rattle snake through that door. The snake got in attack position and she hissed away. Then, after she figured it all out she ran under the bed and wouldn't come into the living room for at least a week. She carefully wandered around the condo but avoided that living room.

We do have some interesting creatures here in the SW desert.
