Yesterday's Condo

I woke up with Gabby snuggled next to me. She has an uncanny sense of time. She was out of bed 15 min. before the alarm and she does this routinely. She also planted herself in the hallway (im)patiently waiting for breakfast #2.

This morning is the Chicago marathon. I can see the runners from my west facing windows. The kitties were confused by the sound of helicopters. I think this year is the first time I recall hearing helicopters overhead with the race. Needless to say, security is very tight.

With the Boston Marathon being interrupted by bombs, I think every city that is hosting a marathon anymore is requesting tighter security, and with good reason.

How cool to have such good seats for the marathon! :-D Sad that we need so much security for it, but glad they are supplying it.

I miss have a snuggle kitty on these cool mornings - Have a wonderful Sunday, Sienne :-D

sounds a little unnerving to me. hopefully the race is uneventful!

i miss having kitties to sleep with. that's the nicest thing ever. my allergy doc banned them from the bedroom years ago. enjoy those morning snuggles!
