Yesterday's condo

I have absolutely no idea where these numbers are coming from today unless between +2 and +5 last night, she dropped a lot lower (that early in the cycle) than she's ever done. It's the only thing that makes any sense though since she shot into the 200's late in the PMPS cycle and stayed there through AMPS this morning. At least at +6 today, she's back in those pretty greens :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

That's a pretty big drop for China too, from 220 to 76...might be an interesting PMPS number again tonight.

If anyone has any other ideas, I'd love to hear them!!

Maybe her pancreas is getting a little better..... more greens = better

I think our kitties just like to keep us guessing. Just when we think we have them figured out, they throw us an odd number. I hope China doesn't bounce tonight.

Rhiannon...I sure hope that Mr. P is kicking into gear!! China's just a little past 4 months on Lantus..sure would be cool to be one of the lucky ones that goes OTJ within 6 months! :mrgreen:

Carla...you can say that again...China just loves to confuse me...her numbers last night and this morning really don't make any sense..even for China! I really don't know where those numbers came from, but I guess it doesn't matter any more...she's come back down into those pretty numbers I like so it's not going to do any good trying to figure out what happened last night. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I have a feeling that at PMPS, I'm going to have another opportunity to "shoot low to stay low" too...always makes me a little nervous, but I know it's the best thing

Thanks for the visit to Charms Condo last night. Looks like you might be busy tonight! Good luck with the "shoot low to stay low" . That should have been my mantra at Pm shot time , but I chickened out and reduced Charms insulin when I saw a 59. The lowest I have ever shot has been in the 60's. I admit I still panick when I see low numbers! Good Luck - Sam

I hope she comes up a little too, but will just have to wait and see...another 30 minutes to PMPS time...at least by changing our times to 6am/6pm, I can easily get a +6 at night so I have a good idea if I will need to set my alarm. I hate getting up at 6am, but I've gotten pretty good at "sleep shooting" :lol: :lol:

Sam, I know!! It seems somehow wrong to shoot something as strong as insulin when they're in "normal" numbers. You look and see a drop from 220 to 76 in 3 hours and think you'd be totally insane to shoot a 50-60. Without knowing China pretty well at this point, I'd never be able to do it either. The whole concept of shooting a low number can be really scary!!

Good thing I bought a bunch of Gravy Lovers the other day...just in case! The one thing that drives me crazy is I open one, use a few teaspoons and have to throw away the rest. Can't leave it out for the civvies because China would eat it too, and although I leave it in the refrigerator, it goes icky after a few days.

Hope China comes up for you to shoot comfortably, and she surfs so you can get a decent amount of sleep! That was some drop! It is amazing how powerful such a tiny amount of insulin is
