I weighed Champ yesterday and he's lost a pound, finally. His appetite has increased in the last couple of days, but I don't think his numbers have been consistently high enough to cause an increase in appetite so maybe he's just trying to add to his fat layer because he thinks he needs to get ready for hibernation for the winter or something. That's the excuse I'm using for myself anyway!!

Work continues to be busy, but my biggest account is getting ready to take a couple weeks off which means a 50% cut in my income during that time period...hate it when that happens!! I hope I can find another account to take over for that time so it's not quite so painful in the pocketbook.

Yikes...sorry about the loss of $$. I hate it when that happens....I work from home too, and there are times when work is sooooooo slow.....and others when I am too busy. Hope you can pick up another account!

Hi Sherry!!! Yes...it's either feast or famine with work!!! You think I'd be used to it by now and would save for a rainy day....but....oh well!!

Hi guys .. boo on the pink, yay on the weight loss! I think it's safe to say most of us add on a little flub during the winter months, you know, just in case! Sorry to hear about the loss of income .. I am sure it will all work out .. Have a great day!

Maybe Champ thinks he's a bear? But dude, you're a cat, no hibernation for you and no storing up fat for winter!!! Tho our big boys could be mistaken for bears :lol: :lol: I got the speech the other day about Leo losing weight, the vet even said she had 3 "fat boys" to do dentals on.......I was all :o :o "Leo's not fat!!! He's just big boned!!" :lol:

Tracy!!! So funny!!! I tell people all the time that Champ is big-boned. My sister always looks at me like "who are you trying to fool?"

I do the same thing with Simon. I always say he is a big cat and not fat...look at his paws!

Come on down Champ. Although it is breast cancer awareness month, you do not need to be pink to show your support.

Hi Patty, you have me cracking up on the "big boned" Champ as an excuse for weight. I was going to say Champ just looks muscular, like he lifts weights! :lol: Congrats to Champ on losing weight. Maggie is a couple pounds overweight, and I tell peope she is just curvier in certain places, like her belly! Sorry about the work situation and hope you find another account so it doesn't hurt in the wallet. Have a nice day.

Our housekeeper always says that Gracie is just "shubby". :lol: :lol: :lol: No no...she's not shubby...she's very PLUSH!!!

Sorry about the accounts...bummer. And I'm sure your fav boss is none too generous with other accounts. Hey....maybe it's time for a Tucson vaca???
