Uneventful weekend. Had a good time with friends on Caturday. They have a new-er kitten who was very fun to play with. Unfortunately, they are going to declaw him, which breaks my little heart. I have no idea why anyone would do that to a cat.

Our Washer broke after about 14 years of service, so gotta pry open the pocketbook for a new one. Trouble is, how do you buy a new washer without the dryer to match? :lol:

Nice numbers for Buster. :mrgreen: I don't think people really understand what they're doing when they declaw. That is so sad. I hope you can find a good washer & dryer.

Left some food in the auto feeder for this afternoon in case he has any bright ideas about going deeper into the lagoon.

Yes, sad about declawing. I tried my best to sway her the other direction, but she's somewhat hard-headed sometimes, even if she is my friend. All you can do is try to educate and let people make their choices. I think I convinced my hairdresser that dry food is bad for cats, that counts for something, right?

Really sad on the declawing.....so many people don't realize that they are often trading one problem (scratching) for another (peeing and pooping all over the house because of the pain in their paws afterwards)....and it's the cat that ends up losing either way :cry: You're right though...there's only so much you can do to try to sway someone else's opinion. Would be so much better if they just outlawed it so it wasn't even a choice

Of COURSE you have to get the matching drier! The washer/driers these days have so many cool bells and whistles....of course they also don't last near as long as the ones made 10+ years ago either and cost a whole lot more!
