Billie is having a good day so far!! It was nice to see her hang out on the blue/green line for a bit. I have been home all day and have not heard any coughing fits! (*ANTIJINX*) This is day 4 of 1x daily pred dosing. We have tonight and tomorrow, and then we go down to every other day until I use up what we have left which will probably only be 2 doses. She has been moving from nap spot to nap spot, taking breaks to eat, groom, and snuggle with me. What a sweet girl.

We are having a bit of Wild Calling rabbit drama...I bought a new case, and the consistency is totally different. The color is darker, and it is not as juicy. Of course, Billie knows and won't eat it. I called the company and they said they did not change their formula. I'm hoping it's just a fluke. That was the only case our pet store had, so I ordered some off Chewy. We still have a few cans left of the "normal" stuff. The people at the pet store said that Wild Calling uses two different packing facilities, and depending on where it was packed, it can be different - silver cans are packed in one place, and gold cans are packed in another - but we have always gotten the silver cans, and the weird ones are silver too. Hopefully, the kind we get in the mail is the right kind!

I am thinking Billie will have a bounce waiting for me at PMPS, but we'll see! I hope everyone is having a nice day. Sending lots of vines to the cats and beans needing vines.

Hi Deanna. A friend of mine discovered Wild Calling and was feeding the rabbit as well as another unique flavor. She too felt that quality control was lacking and stopped using it. Her cat had IBD. She ended up going back to Instinct limited ingredient. She was lucky that her cat would eat it. Max would have no part of either food. Nice surf for Billie today.

What a nice report! No coughing. Snuggling. Way to go Billie. Nice numbers, too.

Sorry about the food snafu. Guess quality control isn't keeping up at the manufacturer if Billie has to fill in and give the thumbs (or something!) down.

Nice report on Billie today, no coughing and snuggles, what more can you ask for. sorry about the food situation. I can sympathize. I drove all over the State this weekend looking for food for Bubby, and of course he is not loving any of it.

Wonderful about the no coughing! Ugh about the Wild Callings!!! I had many issues like that with Wellness, and got the same song and dance...we never change the formula, blah, blah, bla. Yeah, well tell that to our kitties!!! I hope you're able to get the variation that Billie likes again. Have a great night, Deanna!

Elise, thanks for letting me know that a friend of yours had a similar issue with Wild Calling. That's good to know. I tried Instinct with Billie but it wasn't a hit. Brooklyn absolutely loved it though. Amy, sorry to hear you have had the same trouble with Wellness! Very annoying. The Wild Calling representative I talked to also tried to tell me that their formula is always the same and it couldn't possibly be any different. I hope whatever comes in the mail is the right stuff! If Chewy has it, I'll probably order several cases of it. Ordering cat food online might be ideal at this point...I'm pretty sure the employees at the pet store I go to think I am either feeding several dozen cats or eating this stuff myself considering how often I am in there!

I hope everyone is having a very nice night! Billie doesn't seem to have any tricks up her sleeve and there is now an entire season of Chopped on Netflix...sounds like bed time for me! :smile:

A nice day for Billie (except for that color that won't be mentioned at PMPS). Yay for no coughing (anti-jinx).

I am often perplexed at the differences one can find in two cans of the exact same food. One might be twice as juicy as the other, etc. Very frustrating, because these things do make a difference to our picky felines. I hope the stuff you get from Chewy is the right one.
