Atticus is still doing well. I am watching her as she sleeps on top of her head. Such a weirdo. Evidently she got a little cool in the bedroom last night because we had the windows open enjoying the cool front. I woke up this morning with her "spooning" me which is not Atticus-like. She is not snuggly normally although she loves her rubs and pets. It takes a lot for her to snuggle up to me and I am probably the only person she halfway likes. Yes I said halfway. My hubby and I even chatted about this subject this morning. We don't think Atticus really likes any person. She just deals with me since I feed her and pet her the most. Oh well, I still love her to pieces and she just has to deal with that!
She always sleeps next to me, just not against me. Maybe she's getting senile? Secretly? I think she LOVES me and just won't admit it.
So, yesterday I was going through some mail for work and I had a stack of rubberbands at the end of the bed where Atticus was sitting and staring at them. As she reached her paw out to swat at it, I told her no (which I never have to scold her about anything). I told her no because she would have knocked them on the floor where my other kitty would have eaten them because I'm pretty sure Ariel has pika. She eats everything! Anyway, Atticus jumped back, put her paw down, scrunched up her face and stared at me through her slitted eyes and flat ears. Someone was a little irritated... ;-) Anyway, she walked all the way around the mail on the bed toward me after staring for about 30 seconds. I reached out to pet her thinking she was coming to "apologize". Oh no! That cat swatted me in the shoulder, threw her nose in the air and walked back to the rubberbands and began playing with them. What an attitude this girl has!
 Of course I had to laugh. What else can you do? WOW! Guess who has the BOS??? You guessed it! Atticus!
