Leaving on my trip tomorrow
I let my fiancé give a few shots this week, but its definitely a learning curve and Xander is much more jumpy and spicy with her. I decided to have her give a 0.1 dose instead of the 0.25 while i'm away to make it a little easier on her to judge where the plunger should fall and to give some safety room if he doesn't allow her to test him for some reason. It also seems her shots leave a drop behind, I think she is a little hesitant to press firmly on the plunger since she's new to it. Hopefully we don't loose too much progress in those 6 shots while i'm away and bounce back quickly when I get back Thursday evening

Best of luck to your fiancé as she cares for Xander while you’re gone. Tell her it’s a learning curve for us all. It’s so nice that she can look after him, and even if he happens to lose a little momentum, you’ll get things going again when you return. Have a nice trip, and safe travels, Albert.

Thank you! :)

Yeah she seemed a little discouraged tonight when she gave the shot a little too deep and he flinched and left a little behind in the syringe. But I told her to just do her best and the worst case is he'll be a little hungrier from the higher numbers.

I bought her a cute card and some candies that i'll set up before I leave tomorrow afternoon. I know how much work it takes to wrangle him into eating and everything else so I definitely appreciate it!
