Happy TGIF!
Racci finally had a nice green day yesterday and looks like she might again today. Her AMPS is almost the same as last night's PMPS which means she was probably green all night since she has eaten several meals already in between. I hope she goes down again today but not too far down. Today is the 7th day since her increase to 3.25U from 3U. Her numbers have been working their way down. Racci always takes time for a new dose to start working well. Her poops are also looking good. Racci's been more playful again and hanging out by her toy basket to catch me there to play. :-D :-D

I have to work on my ss. Will be back soon. Have a great day and lots of health wishes to those who need them.

Hi Melanie, good luck on this dose. Our girls were both green yesterday. That's a nice AMPS, and I bet she flashes some nice greens today. Glad her poops are okay, too! I love hearing that she's playful, as that's always a good sign they're feeling good. Have a nice day.

Hi Ann,

Racci does seem to feel very good today. She's napping now. Yesterday I had wanted to get a little later test in the morning than the +3 but she came out to me demanding it then. :smile: Today I think I have to get the early one because she may go too low.

I love when she's playful. She's so cute. She sits there and rubs her toy basket over and over waiting for me to come over. It's so cute! :lol: If I don't come in the room she finds me and keeps patting my feet until I notice her.

Hi Melanie, looks like Racci is on her way to some nice greens. So cute with the way Racci gives gentles hints to you that she wants to play. I'm afraid Maggie is already yellow. I tried a new renal fuds on her which is low in phosphorus but higher in carbs than I would like. I hope the food you ordered is okay and not spoiled. Have a good night.

Leslie, Racci disappointed me in her numbers today. I was hoping for greens but it didn't happen. I thought for sure it would. Oh well, at least she stayed in low blues. I hope she finishes the day that way too. At least she's feeling good though and in a good mood. :smile: My headache and nausea has been coming and going but better than yesterday, thanks for asking. At least today I didn't vomit. :lol:


Rhiannon, Racci is a very gentle soul. She's one of a kind. I've never known another cat like her. She just doesn't have a mean bone in her body. When you look in her eyes all you can see is sweetness and love shining out. Even as a baby she was different. All her brothers would be jumping all over each other playing rough and wrestling and she would step to the side and watch them quietly and just cuddle & play gently with one of her little orange furry brothers who was quiet like her. They loved each other. I almost kept him too. I'm sorry I didn't. :-D

The green didn't last too long today though! :lol:

I almost got to leave messages for you both today and got interrupted by the door and never got back. I don't remember if I got back now. Both your furkids are doing so well!!! Rhiannon, I hope your daughter felt better today. TTYL

As long as there is some green, it is a good thing!! Hope tomorrow is more green than today.
She feels well, she is doing well, it's all good! The numbers are the numbers, it's how your baby feels & acts--Give me a happy, purry furry cat over green numbers anyday!

Racci is such a darling girl, just as sweet as Moonie is too--Moonie doesnt have a bad bone either, all she wants is Love. Have a beautiful night--Hugs & Love from us!

You're blessed with Moonie too then and know what I mean. I don't think there's anything in the world sweeter than a really sweet cat. :-D They're such a precious gift.

Of course you're right with the numbers. If being green made her feel unwell or unhappy I would certainly work at getting her bg up.

I just get extremely paranoid when I see high numbers because of her legs. She has a hard time walking as it is with that bum rear left leg. When it hurts she holds it stiff. She's so heavy and her legs are so short also that it makes it harder for her now. Then when her numbers go up she gets neuropathy and REALLY has a hard time. I try to feed her less but she really doesn't eat a lot and she gets hungry so I have to feed her. Even the vet didn't recommend feeding less. That's why she finally decided to try the Adequan in the hopes that it would make her feel well enough to be more active and lose some weight that way.
