that's a happy amps for punkin! he's happily chowing down his breakfast - was like a crazy man at the door this morning trying to get it open, but he's happy now. amazing how breakfast does that!

no antics to report - just a face full of food. :-D

my youngest daughter is home from college this morning to do allergy testing. yucky, but i'm glad to see her. she's always a bit of sunshine!

 on the face full of food! Punkin looking good this morning. Hope all goes well with your daughter's testing. Enjoy her while you can.

Re: 10/12 punkin amps 188

Nice to see that number! Julie, thank you again for making the video about drawing up the dose. That has helped us both! Less stress and better draw. Funny how the highest stress thing has changed from testing to giving the shot to drawing up the dose to ... It's all good now. :-D Have a great day!

They definitely know when fuds time is! I hope all goes well for DD and that she isn't allergic to anything important, like cats!

Re: 10/12 punkin amps 188

we know she has allergies. i have a ton of allergies too. she's allergic to some odd things - like Cheer laundry detergent. no idea what's in it that's a problems because they don't list ingredients in non-food things, but something in it gives her hives. she's got some seasonal allergies and some food allergies. the thing that prompted this is last week she called me in a panic because she felt like her lungs/throat were swelling. "honey, i'm 2 hours away!" I talked with her while she walked to the health center. but something set her off and she needs a plan other than calling the mommy.

food is an amazing way to calm those kitties down.
Allergy testing is yucky, hope it goes well and you and your daughter enjoy the visit.

Re: 10/12 punkin amps 188

Oh that Punkin and his food, I wonder how much he would eat if you just let him go for it?

But calling the mommy and hearing her voice just makes anything feel better! I hope your daughter figures out what she's allergic to. Allergies can't be fun.

Re: 10/12 punkin amps 188

Looking great, Punkin! Glad you all get DD for the day, at least!

I hear ya on the allergies. Several in my family are allegedly allergic to Tide (my mom has been known to just make stuff up, so we're not sure). I use the ECOS brand detergent and find it works well for all but the toughest of stains (at which point, I add a stain releaser to the item and borax to the load), and if you have a Costco, it is only $12.59 for a 205 ounce bottle, which is 200+ HE loads or 100+ regular ones. Passes the test with all my peeps and it doesn't have an obnoxious smell, even though it is magnolia and lily scented.... just smells clean.

Hope DD gets to the bottom of all her allergy issues!

   i will openly admit that when i cut my finger the other day...
I immediately called the Unamommer.
Of course, she was mad at me over something, so she refused to answer the phone, but still...

Re: 10/12 punkin amps 188

Thank you so much for posting the presentation! I LOVED IT. I never expected to see all the pictures - let alone the one of him yelling for cheeseburgers. It made my day!!!!!!! I love that Anya made an appearance also. My heart is refilled.

Re: 10/12 punkin amps 188

well, very interesting. turns out she quite allergic to almonds. harmless little almonds. some to filberts, a slight reaction to peanuts - she eats all of those and other nuts. the rest of the nuts were not allergies.

very allergic to grasses, trees and dust mites - no surprise there.

what was a surprise was the doc said that what she has been experiencing as anxiety attacks could be allergic responses. blood goes to your stomach, head feels light and dizzy, your body does panic . . . so now her first line of defense when she feels something "wrong" is supposed to be to take a benadryl and see if that clears it up. the doc didn't give her an epi pen but if it gets worse she will. kinda makes me nervous.

it took me a while yesterday to figure out what was meant by the "cheeseburger" picture! i sent that pic to them because it was while we were on the way to colorado. gotta say i love that one.

i was gone for punkin's +3 and second breakfast this morning, so his numbers are a bit messed up today. he was 192 at +4.5 and i didn't even test for the +6 because i'd just fed him. see what he does tonight. he did let me know what he thought about not having his fuds on time! I violated the Feed Me Contract, and you don't do that without penalty! :-D
