Petey is acting fine -super snuggly and adventurous outside (trying to meet the neighbors cats) but he's not finishing meals and refuses pretests or he will not eat breakfast/dinner.

At night I started testing early while he's napping. In the morning I am getting a +1 or +2. Started using a new pen just in case and his ears are not bad he's just super resistant and annoyed, so much so he is willing to hide in the litter box to avoid the poke.

Looks like we will see the effects of 3u today. Hopefully not too low, again!

I did feed him at +11 but not enough for that kind of bump based on his history...

He does not, so it was a shock but he would not sit for another test so I fed him. I'm gonna go with false alarm and he has HC onboard now.

I wonder why he's suddenly gone off on allowing you to test? Are you trying treats? What size lancet are you using? Maybe switching to a smaller gauge? That said, I switched to a 33 from a 30 on Jude, and I couldn't get him to bleed. Anywhoo...you've probably already tried these tricks. I hope you can figure it out.
