Yesterday had a little yellow bouncette before back to blues/greens.

Well I missed rowing this morning. I woke up to a 70 and didn't think it could be a good idea to head out for a couple of hours then. I could have given her HC but it lasts about two hours and I would have been gone closer to 3. Guess who surprised me again with AMPS! I took another drop off her dose this morning. My goal is to keep her nadirs around 70. And I'd REALLY like a longer stretch of sleep.

The problem with getting up at +9 and +10 early this AM is the cats thinking it's early breakfast. :roll: Oh well, CPC is done, short patrol for sniffs on the deck and Neko is now camped in front of Otto for more food. I'm doing a short btb, but then I've got a busy day picking up the turkey and fixings for Thanksgiving dinner which is at my place tomorrow.

Just little bounce yesterday AM, but Neko's evening numbers recovered nicely!
Awesome numbers this morning! And sorry to hear you had to miss rowing! :)

What great numbers for Neko today. I hope the drop decrease works. Have a great Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.

What beautiful numbers! Do you think that switching to Levemir has made a big difference?

@Rich - It was pretty amazing to see such a small bounce, but I also didn't test when I thought the numbers could be worse. :lol: I was OK with missing rowing. It would have been cold and my back was bugging me. I had a pretty long row yesterday and today would have been longer. And sleep was good!

@Jane - Neko has had short bounces for a while, what's new is not so much pink. :-D Rowing would have been low 40's so not so nice as a passenger. I warm up plenty as a rower.

@Carla - Still waiting for the decrease to give me higher numbers. Go depot! Cranberry sauce done, shopping done, working on veggies. Hopefully tomorrow isn't much work.

@Nancy - I've always known that the more time Neko spends in green, the less she bounces. I think with the flatter cycles that Neko sees with Lev, it's given more time in green. I also have a theory I'm working on. It's been about 5 months with no real reductions, and I've always wondered whether Neko's IAA meant she had some regular diabetes like thing happening too. Although, I can tell she has a working pancreas. I've been hoping that if she spent more time in green, any non working pancreas cells would come back from vacation. I could be full of it - it could just be time for more tumor cells to die off. Or at least I hope so. She's gone down and back up before.

Hi Wendy,

Sorry you didn't get to go rowing today, but Neko's numbers sure are looking nice!

I was wondering the same thing as Nancy about the Levemir, so thanks for the additional information. It's great to see Neko leveling out & spending more time in green :mrgreen:

Hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving & thanks for all the help with Tigger's recent illness - we appreciate it!

So much for the bounce. Here we go again.

@Michelle - Awesome is right. One of her better days!

@Suzanne - Better safe than sorry for the rowing. Not all kitties flatten out with levemir, you have to try it to see what the reaction is. We seem to have lucked out.

@Liz - Can't ask for much better than fantabulous! Turkey day is Sunday for us - I'm thawing out raw turkey for the kitties too. :cool:

@Mariko - Another good day cycle, I could get used to this. :-D I traded rowing for a bit of sleep and safety for Neko, so far trade.
