What a great morning for Mannie yesterday - look at that AMPS! :-D :-D   He did make green, a dip, but it was green. For whatever reason he ended up with a nasty bouncy pink pmps. I was glad though to see that leave as quickly as it showed up. Good jon Mannie!! None of us here like pink.... good boy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D Mannie once again confiscated DGS's very soft, very cuddly travel blanket out of his car seat. :o   He does LOVE that blanket. I can't say that I blame him either - they ought to make the bean's blankets as soft... Yesterday also found Mannie once again in DGS's fuds... there was turkey on that plate and the Nanner King knew it.  DGS was gracious enough to share - what a guy! I have never seen a bowl licked that clean - it ever sparkled.   And for today? Kitty choir?: check! Bellowing?: check! Claws on the shoulder?: check! All three choir members in attendance?: check! civvie whacking?: check ! check! check! (there were several whacks   ) Nanner reclamation?: check, big time! Guess that all means that things were on track this morning! We had a good test feed shoot this AM - lots of purrs from the Nanner King. Breffis was consumed with gusto, clean plate club status intact. And... and... and.... once again he used the auto feeder!!!! too bad that it only happens maybe once a week...  Normalcy in Mannieland, as all three have gone off to nap.

Have a great day everyone!!!!! I am back on DGS duty this week - all week. YAY! A full week of Nicholas. I know I won't be able to visit condos - I am sorry about that. Do know though that I am thinking of you all. THINK GREEN KITTIES!

My friends! WOOT!!! and what a party! We really outdid ourselves! So much hunting and grilling our catch, and the fuds! kitchen krew you are the best!!!! I think we need a rest day today - maybe some pool time somewhere? Maybe with some floaties... and some niptinis to sip.... and party leftovers to snack on.... I am SO THERE! See you guys! ~~ Mannie

And completely OT: Below are some photos from the beach visit DGS and I did yesterday. It was a local beach, very windy, but we had moments of sun... unlike the rest of the city....

Re: 10/12 Mannie AMPS 215, +2 284

Great pics, Michelle. Wow, that first one really reminded me of my 2 years in Seattle: that dramatic, glowering sky and water. Neat stuff. Who needs sunshine? Well, maybe you need some more of the sun today, so I hope you and Nicholas have fun on your hike. Looks like Mannie is giving you your permission slip. Funny story about Mannie sharing Nicholas's turkey.

Ella

Yo Mannie, What a great party. You say there's food left over? And we'll go somewhere and drink niptinis and lounge around and eat leftovers? I'm there, buddy. See you soon.
Rusty

YAY! Great to see Mannie touch the greens, stick around for a while thos Manster. The Green Lagoon would be a great place for the rest day.

Have fun w/ Nicholas, I hope the weather clears up for you. It was so bright here last night, offshore winds so no marine layer and the Moon, w/ Jupiter just to the side! Gorgrous!!

I'm in on the rest day. That was a long night, but it was so nice to see the GAs through the veil. They all looked so happy and healthy! And the singing! Rusty and Moonie are so great together. Yawwwwwwnnnnnn, maybe I'll take a nap first. 'Later -- Tess

389 @ PMPS. ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile

Thanks all for visiting Mannie while DGS and I were so busy having way to much fun! We ended up with a break in the weather so we headed off to the falls and the rivers. He had a fantastic time, and we only were rained on once! I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Sorry this will be such a short update, just too much to get through tonight. Thanks Linda, Iorwen, Christie, Ella, Ann, and Gwen for visiting! Well Mannie seems to have bounced... sheshhhhh! what is up with that 389? ohmygod_smile unless it was the 5 cheerios he raided off of Nicholas plate. I doubt it, as he seems to have been headed up anyways. it was nice though that he did give DGS and I a permission slip to go play. I just wish he hadn't been so dramatic about it. thanks too on the pics - pretty typical of the seattle/edmonds area. We do get some darn cool skies...

we were able to see the full moon this morning too - just enough of a break in the clouds - for about 10 minutes - sure was pretty!

Hey everybody!!! Resting today it is!! I will bring the leftovers... YUM! A Lounge day with leftovers, niptinis, and good friends! and Tess - I SO AGREE! It was god to see all the GA's!!! I can hardly wait for Halloween, when the veil will be the thinnest. See you guys!!~~ Mannie

Re: 10/12 Mannie PMPS 389, +2 399

Mannie.....dude you are supposed to be going the other way, not UP! Maybe partying too hard last night? You're a little under the weather from all the niptinis??? So nice of DGS to share his fuds, and his blankie too, its only fair that you share your nanners. I got a really nice fuzzy kitty blankie for Leo from Petsmart the other day, its perfect kitty size too!

Mannie, thanks for bringing KTSS to me yesterday and to whoever caught the mousies to make me some mouse smoothies! Maybe it was Willie? It should be after all those private mousing lessons i gave him....anyway thanks again Mannie ~ Your pal Leo

Looks like you get to sleep tonight...uh....but then again, it is Mannie and he could be in blue in an hour!!!

MANNIE: NO MORE BOUNCING!!! Your liver gots it....understands....knows it's safe!!!

What a lovely day for you and Nicholas.....how cute he is standing up on the beach!! OMG!!! Standing up!!

301 @ +4, BLECH!!! STILL PINK!!! well on the good side, no more pokies tonight for the Nanner King... might as well give him the night off.

Hi Tracy - no kidding!!! and no more cheerios for the boy.  and the niptinis! Mannie so agrees on the blankie. It cracks me up tough... once DGS leaves he's right back onto the nanner pile... reclamation!

Leo!! DUDE!!! anytime man. We missed you at the party - Willie did good - he helped so many of the newbie kitties learn how to mouse, you did good! Hope you likes the mouse smoothies... see you tomorrow maybe? ~ Mannie

YIKES! Mannie who is hiding in your fur & getting all these here high numbers??

Moonie loved last night & is setting the wheels in motion for Halloween party at Camp Stu!
Hope you all up there have a good nite--Hugs & Love from us!

hi Roni! i know... It can't possible be Mannie in that fur coat... and thanks - the day was good!
Mannie too is starting to think Halloween - with a special time for a GA remembrance. He says it's going to be tough to top last years party... WOOT!

NI NI all!

i'm beginning to think that you are the energizer bunny! up early, going with nicholas all day, up late, and then crash!

mannie must've found something besides turkey in that turkey bowl of nicholas'! a little snickers bar in the bottom of the baby food, perhaps? well, he'll come down at some point. in the meantime, you got some lovely pictures today.

sleep tight! you get to do it all again tomorrow. :-D

Hi,
I am in the Seattle area as well.....Lake Stevens, to be exact. I have looked at your hiking pics. My DH and I have done some of the same, but not nearly as many! Gorgeous pics, though. It IS a pretty place.
I am wondering how on earth you manage to do so many BG checks and how your cat's ears do? I poke Missy from the front (not furry) side and just from increasing my testing, I can see the results. I use Neosporin on her, but she still has marks. Maybe I need to do them from the back, so they are not so visible....I wish I had the stamina to do so many checks on Miss.
Your DGS is adorable!

Hi guys!

Hey Julie - I wonder. the ugliness continues.... 381 this morning. BLECH! and too funny on the energizer bunny.

Hi Mares - YAY!! Another Washingtonian! Nice to on the hikes. I really like your area - hike Mtn Loop stuff when I can. Mannie has the marks too. I just move up and down the ear edge, they do eventually heal. He's really good about testing, so no issues there. I just run tests whenever I am around. I no longer work, so that is a big help too. He also as a very early shot schedule (4:30) so that I have time in the morning to test a couple of times, if his number indicate that I need to. I dunno on the stamina stuff, I've just gotten used to the hours over the years, been an early riser etc for a long time. Have a great day today!
