Vet thinks that possibly the vincristine (chemo drug she had last week) may be causing lack of GI motility - I had been thinking along those lines that she may be constipated - hence the miralax for the last 3 nights. Although her blood work looked fine, he decided since she wasn't eating, we shouldn't subject her to the chemo as well this time, so we're skipping chemo this week. She got sub-Q fluids and I'm to give her 100 ml squids daily this week. Also, prescribed metoclopramide tabs - she gets 1/4 approximately every 8 hours to get stuff moving thru her gut. If she's still not better after 2 - 3 days of this, I am to call the vet and let him know.
When we got home, I carried her up the steps because I figured she didn't need to hop up all the stairs... So what did she do? She went back down all the steps and then back up again.
I hope this gets things moving - we've had limited litter box activity for the last week or so and it seems like that might really help...
