Just realized I never posted a new post today. Been very preoccupied. A friend called me yesterday to see if I could keep a cat she trapped overnight till she could get him in to be neutered tomorrow morning. I said sure. Big mistake. This is why I stopped fostering. One look, and pet and hes mine. I named him Jack. Photo coming. Hes a pretty chill cat for being on the street all his life. He absolutely hates having his nails cut tho. I couldnt finish. He was starting to get really upset. The cats also dont seem bothered by him, strangely. Hes currently in a big cage till I can have him tested.
Back to Karamelle, I think its time for an increase again. Shes just stayed high for too long. This is a warning!

Wonder how old he is?
I dont know. The woman who rescued him has been trapping and getting a bunch fixed from this one area near her work. She has gotten 3 generations of kittens so far but mom keeps evading the trap and she just gave birth again. At first she thought this might be one of her sons, but the markings dont look right. She has photos of all the kittens. So this may be one of the dads. He looks young to me tho and his balls arent that big. Id say over a year, but not by much. Im so surprised at how friendly he is tho. I wonder if he was just someones outdoor cat. Hes not neutered or chipped tho, so hes not going back there.

He just hit the “Jackpot” 💓
Ha, theres so many "Jack" sayings. I'll have fun with this one. I originally just chose the name because I thought it went nice with my other cats name Julie, haha. Still hoping she will have a friend besides Oscar whos 18. Julie seemed really leery of Jack at first but shes seems to be ok now. probably since she knows he cant get out of the cage. But surprise! once hes tested hes coming out. I hope it all works out. Im going to keep the cage there in case he still wants to sit in it. The new ones have a tendency to want to stay where they were first put. He might be more of an adventurer tho. I know he wants out. Hes been talking a LOT!!

Jack is SO handsome! What a lucky cat he is to end up with you :). Congratulations!

Following our theory that only the girls are territorial, hopefully all the kitties warm up to Jack soon. I can’t believe how friendly and easygoing he is for a kitty who may have been outside most of his life. He is just gorgeous. I can see why you fell in love with him and had to keep him 😻
