Yesterday's Condo

As much as he can pester Gabby, Gizmo can be incredibly sweet. Gabby polished off her food and decided that Gizmo wasn't eating fast enough. Gizmo shared his breakfast. They both had their heads in Gizmo's bow without any grumbling.

Well, at dinner time, we had a "let's swap bowls." When Gizmo was looking rather forlorn because Gabby decided, "What's mine is mine and what's yours is mine, too," Gizmo went and cleaned out her bowl.

Gabby has been demanding to lie on my chest all afternoon. She's been snuggling and purring. I know know why -- her numbers were dropping (i.e., her +7 was 149 vs. her PMPS.)

Thanks for stopping by our condo.

When you mentioned that we should be watching Clare's numbers this cycle, are you concerned that she will dive mid-cycle? So far, we've never had a pink +3 followed by a dive below a yellow number, at least that we know of. I've checked a few times and still haven't discovered any breaks that way.

So if you feel that it's possible, we'll do more to get the mid-cycle numbers during Clare's higher sessions.

Hi Gabby,

You speak from experience and that means a lot. Also, we're now adding some food management along with the higher 0.25+ dose, so it's a new rhythm and it does make sense to test more frequently -- cats are unpredictable, as you say, and we shouldn't assume too much! :roll:

So, we'll do at least a +4 tonight because we're going to feed higher carb at +1 to calm her dive, in case she does cycle lower. If she shows any signs of a lower cycle we should know by then. She usually (usually ;-) ) nadirs (is that a verb?) between +4-6.
