@ Rhiannon, thanks for the link to the calipers, but we have a Harbor Freight Tools locally so I picked some up yesterday.

Furball was in a very good mood this morning. I feel like I'm getting sick this morning and not thinking very well so I didn't try the calipers this morning. Hopefully I'll feel better this evening and can try them then.

Oh, I hope you don't get sick. That season is starting and the stress of being an FD mommy doesn't help our immune systems already stressed already. I hope the calipers help Furball and more consistent dosing.

Nice start for Furball! There appears to be a hint of blue in there. Good luck on the calipers! I hope it works well for you. We have a harbor freight as well. Maybe I need to look there. DH would be thrilled if I asked for a Harbor Freight Date. :lol: Healing vines for you Carla! Get better soon!

Hi Carla, Nice AMPS for Furball, and I am going to sound like a broken record, but let us know about the calipers. It seems like quite a few here are using the calipers. Sending some feel better vines.

I ending up calling in sick to work today and went btb for a couple of hours. I feel a little bit better. I gave Furball a +3 (380) and realized I gave her a fur shot. I thought I might have this morning when I wasn't thinking clearly. How frustrating with that nice AMPS. I will let everyone know how the calipers work out.

Sorry about the fur shot, but we all do them. :oops: She had such a nice AMPS going, but she will recover. Take care of yourself and get better soon. Hopefully Furball will help by snuggling in with you! I'm a firm believer in cat love help us get better faster.

Fur shot phooey! None of us like them and we all do them anyway.

Glad you didn't have to pay shipping and could get them so fast. You will likely be surprised by how off the syringes can be. ohmygod_smile

Hope you are feeling better Carla. And bummer on the fur shot. She must be a fiesty little thing at shot time. Hope tonights dose goes well.

My FB is in my lap (for about 1 min!!!)...he is not much of a cuddler but as we have had so much 'bonding' time as of late, he is actually getting better at it. And wow, is he soft. I thought when I started brushing him after DH and I got married that he was soft, but nothing like this since his diet change. :smile:

I got a good shot this evening on Furball. I think her PMPS is pretty good considering the fur shot this morning. I did use the calipers and I think it will be great once I get a few doses with them. I think I will see better numbers because she'll be getting a consistent dose. I did find it a little hard to adjust the calipers because I needed to move it a few points and it moved more. It is very sensitive. The calipers show how off the syringes really are. Thanks everyone for the feel better wishes.

Fur shots, If I had a dollar for all the ones I have done---I would have a lot of dollars :lol: :lol: :lol:
They happen, they pass next day all is well--You are doing a good thing with the calipers..I have been at war with at least 2 syringe companies over this..Have a healing good night--Hugs & Love from us! :mrgreen:
 
Carla, sorry you were sick today, hope you are feeling better. By now Furball has probably given you her best cat scans :-D Good luck with the calipers, with a bit of practice you will be able to adjust them easily.
