Good morning L&L,

cycle 3 on the increased dose of 1U and no improvement at all and I have no idea why is that.. The last Green number was 9 cycles ago . Lantus looks good - clear, no floaties, etc., and all and it was opened on Sept 19th so I think it's good.

Oh well...

Good morning,
she is fine - no clinical signs to worry over. All 5P are in order. LB visits are regular.
A little sleepier than usual when in High numbers but responsive and asks for food @her regular hours.
The only thing is that her ears are often hot to the touch. To much poking or high blood pressure?
I rotate Neosporin, Halo and Ledum water to help her ears.
I am really puzzled.. Any thoughts on her been stuck in high BG?

Hmm, I don't know. How long has she had hot ears? If it's recent, maybe she has a little fever from something?

She is kind of a puzzle-- she seems like she needs a bit more juice, but then she keeps throwing curveballs (like that 43 pre-shot the other day!!!!). Insulin needs do change over time, but it's like hers change day-to-day.

I'm glad she seems to be doing well otherwise, though. She may be driving you a little crazy with the FD, but at least what you are doing is working for her!

How long has she had hot ears?

More often hot everyday than cold. I noticed sometime earlier this year it is almost always hot.

I hope so very very much that I will find that good dose and food combination that will let her stay in good numbers for longer or to be more stable! I just don't know how to do it yet..
DH believes that switching to home made raw will help - I hope he is right. At least this is one thing I can try.

I just spotted large bubble at the bottom of my insulin pen - went to check it after the +8 test. Does it mean it gone bad?

The insulin looks clear, no floaties. It was opened on 9/19 but we had 2 power offs, one was 13 hours long.
Ducia does not respond well to her increase - it's currently her 3rd cycle. It 's not like he, I think.

I had several tiny bubbles in my pen a while back and they dissipated. I wouldn't worry about it.

I am worried she has no response on the dose that gave her lovely Green numbers just over a week ago...
I am going to add tiny drop to the dose and see if that'll help.
