I can't remember exactly Helena, but when you first noted the numbers rising, didn't we have a conversation where I linked you to another condo where some folk were having problems with the new formula??

One other thing that I have been pondering, do you think that Belle might be getting 'take out'???

If the pet sitter was feeding as you do now, and Belle was eating normally while on vacation, then those numbers shooting up when he got home makes me suspicious that he is getting into some contraband, especially as he is an outdoor kitty, I know how resourceful George can be when he wants snacks, thankfully, no neighbours and no extra snacks where we live, that and he doesn't go out much now, too mature and lazy:rolleyes:

i told the cat sitter canned food is his main, and try not to give dry food to him unless necessary, and i notice the bag of dry food was almost untouched... i suspect that becos they didn't give them much dry food when boarding...

when he is outdoor at home, he stays within the yard, he doesn't go out at all anymore. (he hasn't went out of the yard on normal basis for the last few years). so i don't think he's getting food from neighbors.

That probably explains the blues while boarding if the NV is the culprit.
Guessing he eats more of the NV at home?

so , i did a little test today, i held off his dry food after his first canned food meal. until just now, and tested his BG.

Interesting result!! With that blue.
But unusual, with dry cats often take a couple of days to get it out of their system.

dunno, maybe variance error, might be he is out of bounce. really dunno
but that is really a huge drop (i didn't expect)
