Our dear LL friends, words cannot express our gratitude to the outpouring of love and support from you as we grieve the rainbow bridge crossing by our beloved Zener. We brought his ashes home from our vet this afternoon. We placed the little wooden box on his picnic table, which we moved inside forever. :cry:

Welcome home Zener. I will shed a tear for you today, a tear full of very fond memories. Your journey is now complete. The ends have made that circle. Rest in peace little man. Always remembered, never forgotten.

That seems so fitting. I hope the picnic table is strategically placed so it is warmed by the sun and Zener can feel your smiles at all of the good memories he's inspired.

I know how hard it was for me to get Tiffany back and yet somehow made me feel more at peace. I hope the same for both of you. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

It's such a blessing to have them home but it's also a very difficult time when your heart is already aching. I love the idea of the picnic table. Maybe you could grow a small pot of cucumbers on it? Only fitting.

We know that the Z Man is at peace: he's home with his beloved family, he's resting on his favorite piece of furniture, and he's basking in the love of all of his friends.

Oh Anne....your sweet boy is back home where he belongs so he can watch over you guys. You have been in my thoughts and prayers daily. Sending you love and lots of hugs.

Continuing to send hugs and prayers. How beautiful that you brought his picnic table in. I know how hard it is when they are no longer physically with you, but Zener will always be in your hearts, and he will always be watching over you while he waits for you to rejoin him. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

So bittersweet, bringing him home. You want him home, but doing so, makes it so real and final, yet not doing so, leaves a hole that needs to be filled in order to bring closure.

Z-man is home where he belongs and now your hearts can begin the healing process.

I wish for you that one day, when you think of him, look a photo or see something that reminds you of him, that it will make you smile through the tears. When you can smile again, you will know that you are healing.

We had our animal communicator check in with Zener and Tillie. Here's what she said.

Here is what Zener has to say:

Ahh....I am so relieved to be out of that body. Thank you for helping me be able to leave. The procedure went well, the vet was comforting and having you at my side was important too. I miss all my girls! But my body was worn out and I was so tired of feeling it drag on me. I am checking in once in a while. Especially in the morning when everyone is lazing around in bed. I still think it is time to get up and EAT! Tillie and I had an agreement about my leaving. She was aware it was time for me to go.
To answer the question about being with you before. No, I have not been with Liz and Anne before this life. I want some time off right now. I love being in the spirit energy, free, joyful and joining in the beam of love that is sent to all peoples. Though I did show Terri an image of myself as a huge sleek black jaguar. Stalking in the jungle. Of course, I won't be that big when i do come back to you sometime in the future. I would love that. But not now. I adore you both very much.

Here is what Queen Tillie has to say:
I miss Zener but not as much as Liz and Anne miss him. Zener and I knew it was time for him to leave. I will enjoy being the only cat in the household for now. I am not interested in having a cat companion at this time. When Liz and Anne are ready to travel more - I would appreciate it to have a housesitter arranged. I do not want to be left alone all the time they are away. For now, I want more dry crunchy food in my bowl since Zener is not around to eat it. I am glad to be able to help them feel better since Zener is gone. I love them very much and they are worthy subjects.

Here is what I have to say:

You both need a dose of Ignatia 200 C - homeopathic remedy. Take 2 pellets daily x 3 days. It will help lighten the grief and assist you in moving forward. Tillie does not need any at this time.
I got a chuckle when Zener presented himself as a very large jaguar. Those golden eyes were very intense :) And of course, you are both good and loyal subjects to the Queen. :)
Thank you both so much for loving and caring for your cats like you do. I very much appreciate working with people who care so deeply and understand how much love they have to give us.

What a great report from the AC. I'm so glad that Mr. Z is home again, I know how difficult it is, but so fitting with the picnic table.

(((Anne and Liz))) I love that Z-man now has his picnic table inside with him and with you. :YMHUG: And that Tillie is so accepting of the situation. It's bittersweet but peaceful somehow.

I'm so glad you spoke with the AC. It has always brought me great comfort when one of our kitties has crossed.

I am sure knowing he is at peace,happy, and envisioning himself as a jaguar makes you smile through the tears.
 
My heart goes out to you, and I know that there are no words that can express how you're feeling. We've all been there, and I know we'll all be there again as a result of our undying love for our babies. My thoughts and prayers are continuing for you, and I hope that God can help heal your broken heart quickly. Extreme :YMHUG:
 
How are you doing today? I hope the good memories are starting to push past the grief. It is so hard when our sugar babies leave, we forge such a strong bond through their care.

The AC report is wonderful, I hope Zener sends you a sign soon. ;-) :lol: :lol: on Tillie wanting to be a single cat for a while!
 
Ann & Liz, just wanted to send my condolences on the passing of your beloved Zenner. Forgive my tardiness, I'm just not on the board as often as I used to be. I am so glad you got such a positive AC report. All of LL already knew what loving and devoted mamabeans you were to your little Z-man, it was cool to read that he knew this too. I hope knowing that Zenner is at peace and so grateful that you helped him cross will help your hearts to heal sooner. I can't wait to read how some morning Zenner will let you know he's visiting. Continued comfort vines to you both.

I have been thinking of you a lot.
I am glad Zener is home with you.
I love the AC report.
It made my eyes water again a bit, but made my heart warm.
Zener's jaguar fantasy made me chuckle, and Tillie's not so subtle kibble demand almost made me spill my coffee on my keyboard.
It's so amazing and appropriate you got kitties who's sense of humor match with yours.
All of you were and are so perfect for each other.

I am so truly sorry to hear it was Zman's time to cross. I love your idea to bring his table inside. Thank you both for being part of our amazing family and journey. Twice and I flourished under the fabulous care of Zener and his incredible mamabeans. My heart breaks that I wasnt here sooner to see this, but please know that you are always In our thoughts. Big hugs coming your way!
 
Oh the one thing I hate about not being on the board every day is the passings when I return.
I am so sad for you both. My heart is so sad.
Zener had the greatest humans! He knew it too. Hug tilley as much as you can.
I wish I could take away your pain. Glad the picnic table is inside. I am gad your little man is home.

what an interesting AC report. I can see Zman as a jaguar - I used to call Maui a mini jaguar too. And what is about this kitties wanting crunchies.... :lol: :lol:
