Sending out a ton of extra prayers to Elise, Max, and Elise's DM this morning...

Happy appy, snuggly, spunky, feisty, and anti-jinxes.

It has gotten cool enough for the heat to kick on...boo from the bean who hates being cold; yay from the kitties who love to camp out by the heating vents! I really can't believe the warmth of summer is over...my body just doesn't like cold weather, even inside the house with the heat and with 4 layers on :(:(:(. We can't do it any time soon, but we do plan on retiring somewhere with a more appealing climate....

Hoping for another full studio day...time to move. Prayers to all here!

Sorry about the cold weather moving in :( DH use to keep the heat at 70 and I froze all winter or looked the kid from the Christmas story even in the house. Snuggle up with the kitties!

Perhaps it is my Northern European heritage, but I love fall and winter. Except when it is impossible or dangerous to drive - it is so much more invigorating to be in cold air. I also think it is healthier.
After living in Atlanta for a decade and Cambodia for several years, bring on the snow!!

I don't mind the cold - and my Chow mixes think that snow and 20 degrees is what they are made for!

...but I hope you get to cuddle up with a blanket and some kitties later. Stay warm!

I want to like the cold weather - and I actually used to ski and when I was in college in Indiana the cold didn't bother me one bit. But nowadays when it's below 60 I really can't feel anything with my fingers (which is tough for beading - I drop my needle a LOT during the winter) and I need layers to keep warm even when inside. It's crazy. And it's not my thyroid - if anything, it runs closer to hyper than hypo! It's just how my body has aged.

As a native Wisconsinite, I don't notice cold 'til somewhere under 0 F. Thank goodness, because in the 15 years I've been in the high desert, our temps have steadily slid down the thermometer in the winter. Even cracking the below 0 mark from time to time. I even had to drag my winter jacket out from hiding a few years ago. Now, the heat? Still sucks the life out of me!

Trixie....snuggles are nice when it's chilly. Just sayin'.
