Yesterday

Shadow met me in the bathroom as usual this morning. Purring his head off and being a joyful sweetie as always. He was waiting on the testing towel when I came back with the syringes, ready for his shot as always. He has spoiled me with his wonderful attitude these past months when it was only me and him doing the insulin thing. I am so thankful that HE is so good with his shots and testings. That leaves me plenty of time for the search and shooting of his sister.

He is always around at night when I stagger out to catch the 3 am testing and snack. What a great kitty! (unlike SOME kitties who hide and make their Mama find a flashlight so she can search every nook and cranny to find her in the wee hours of the morning!) He is off to a good start this morning...this is the low of the day probably.
Happy Monday to you all...and Happy Thanksgiving to my friends up north in Canada! Gobble-Gobble!! :mrgreen:
And Happy Columbus Day to everyone here! 3 day weekend for some, right?

Happy Columbus Day to you, Shadow and Raja. Your Shadow boy is so cute and reminds me of Maggie with being so easy with the shots. I'll have to look at Raja's condo to see where she's hiding, huh! Have a nice day.

I'm with Monique - I think I saw scuba gear nearby - better watch out :-D ... Awfully nice Amps for Shadow - looking really good. It is so nice that he is so good for you for tests, and shoot, and all. Makes it so much easier. So different than Raja.

Hey Pat and Shadow & sly Raja! Shadow does look good. HE at least is being a very good kitty! Come on Raja .. you can at least try and be like Shadow :) No hard times for the bean.. ok? I have been checking Shadows SSand find some similarities with Callie. I will be checking more after this to get an idea when it may be time for a change in dose :) I am trolling before I have to go FIND A JOB! Take care of you.. Time to relax :)

A cat on a mission today! His number won the contest of the +4 but after all, he IS getting 2.985 units more insulin that she is, right? Sometimes, he goes way up after a low preshot....and sometimes, he doesn't! :lol:

I gave him some HC gravy on his LC and shot him 10 minutes late tonight. He ended up eating part of Raja's dinner and also kept returning to his own plate. I kept freshening up the FD chicken on top. I was pretty busy there for awhile. So good to see him eating like that....I was hoping to get a nice +1 after all that chowing down. He earned his first <50 today so he can take it easy tonight. (oh please Shadow, take it easy tonight!)

Guess who is happy she went to Walmart this evening for more test strips! The ladies are all saying hello to me now...I feel like it's my second home. I am flying through these test strips now with the two of them and their numbers. But hey, I am NOT complaining at all. It was a banner day with Shadow coming in with the winning AMPS and PMPS between them. Looking at these reports tonight, I guess I was busy today. No wonder I am so tired. I got a B12 shot for the first time in my life...and I don't feel a darn thing. :roll: I'm kinda glad I don't feel like going out dancing tonight! :lol:

It does look like Mannie's PM cycle the other night... wow - I hope Shadow doesn't decided to do it again tonight. :shock: Mannie is thinking about it - it was "one of those mornings" today, and so far the PM is too... not as low yet, but... Shadow: did you two boys come up with this plan, huh?

It is nice to read that Shadow is eating like that. YAY!

Well - I hope you are not in for a PJ party. The jury is still out here. I'm hoping not. Even when they do this in the daytime - it's still exhausting... @-)
