Good afternoon and Happy Friday!! Many prayers and healing vines for Tigger, KT, and Shiwa. Welcome to Dreaded Lupita Friday!!!!
LBG did another race around the house this morning with a screeching halt, a Halloween kitty back and tail
, a beerrrrrooooowwwww!!, and race around the house again. She finally wore herself out and landed in our bed on the sherpa and awaited her petit déjeuner au lit (breffis in bed). And then, in through the front door comes Lupita :shock: :shock: Gracie can see from our bed through the kitchen, into the entryway. As soon as she saw Lupita, the eyes got big, pupils dilated, and hissssssssssss in her very subtle way. Lupita came in and said, in a whisper voice "Good morning, Principessa. I will use Lupita's inside voice today". Nope....Gracie wasn't buying it. :lol: :lol: :lol:
A short little bounce yesterday morning and a green night....where is my yawn emoticon????? Still waiting to see if she will hold the reduction since this is just the fourth cycle after.
Gus is improving every day. He's very fond of his Liver Shake, which we have termed "Soylent Green". Of course, we are aging ourselves but perhaps some of you might remember the Charleton Heston movie (e.g. "Soylent Green is PEOPLE!!"). Ok..so we did not use people liver in the concoction but it is pretty dreadful smelling stuff and he loves it so that's all that matters. OT but funny: when my sister's girls were little, she would serve them liver and onions but because liver already had a bad rap, she always told them they were having steak & onions so they happily ate it. Until the night one of them had a little friend over for dinner who candidly said "this isn't STEAK!! It's LIVER!! So ended my sister's ability to serve liver/onions. Back to Gussie: he is also eating his cat food on his own but I am continuing the Liver Shake because it's good for him and also because one recipe makes a boatload of liver shake!!! And I froze HALF of it in ice cube trays. But..mostly because it's good for him ;-) ;-)
Big excitement here because Josie (Ripley's mom) is coming for a visit tomorrow and Rich is coming over tomorrow night so we can have LL Pizza/Movie night! We are very excited!!! Josie will be here until Monday morning and I hope the Fab Three do not exhaust her. Anyway...you all know what it means when we are having guests so I better get to work!! Thankfully, Lupita is here and also thankfully most of my deep cleaning inside and out was done before my cousin's visit but I do need to sweep and mop the patios as we had a lot of wind yesterday.
