Charms is loving these reductions! Took him out to scratch is favorite tree! He seems a little too hungry and thirsty still, and his weight his down a little so I am taking him to the vet tomorrow morning to get a recheck of his thyroid. - Sam

Congrats on the reduction. Charms does seem to be marking down the dosing ladder. :cool: :cool: :mrgreen:

Now that you are under 5 units and Charms is no longer a high dose cat (how cool is that!!), at some point you may have to move to .25U reductions. Just as we advise to go to .5U increments above 5 units, the same goes for going down the other way. When Neko was marching down the ladder, there was a point around 3.5 units where the .5U reductions no longer worked. We had to go back up, then start down in .25U decrements. My suggestion is to keep trying .5U reductions, until you find it doesn't work, then move to .25U changes.

Sienne- Charms thanks you for the compliment ! He is way ahead of me on the FD learning curve, he bounces back quickly even when I keep messing up!

Wendy - When I look at Charms SS I cannot believe the progress he has made, "no longer a high dose kitty" makes me very happy!!!! Thank you for the new dosing advice. Charms had a vet visit today so his slightly higher BG this afternoon could be because of that, hopefully the new reduction holds. Paws crossed!
