Happy Friday everyone!:cat:

Blaze’s amps is 384.

Usually Friday is my day off but I am subbing for a dental hygienist at another office so I will be gone all day, won’t be able to come home at lunch. Hopefully Blaze brings it down for PMPS!

I hope you come home to a lower PMPS... at least you shouldnt have to worry about Blaze while you're at work today! #silverlinings

Okay sounds good! I want to avoid huge drops and keep him safe. If it’s not a big drop at +1, Im
not going to give him any snacks until +2 or 3, but we’ll see how he does!

Sometimes they get a food spike at +1 and then drop a lot at +2 so I would test at +2 and decide what to feed based on whether he’s the same/lower or alot higher than PMPS. If it’s the former, he’s going to likely come down tonight.

You think I should skip +1 test then and just wait until +2? That’s usually what I do since +1 is usually a food spike like you said.
 
Sorry we were having dinner. Just for future record, I would have gotten the +1. I wasn’t addressing that since you sai you were going to get it. I was just letting you know not to overlook the +2.

He’s clearing a bounce so he’s likely to keep dropping all cycle.

Oh man I’m sorry, misunderstood again:(
I ALWAYS get a +2/3 but rarely get a +1 since it usually look like a food spike. Now I know for future reference. Still learning :nailbiting:

Blaze is making moves for the lagoon!! Mowgli is waiting!! I hope blaze doesn't bounce tomorrow from this big drop, unless you wanted to be able to sleep tomorrow, then a bitty baby bounce is ok!

No apologies needed.

With a cat that dives when clearing a bounce, it’s good to get a +1 and catch those drops before they start. The goal is to flatten the curve even if it’s a little higher. By flattening it, we can, hopefully, stop the dives that causes subsequent bounces.

I can try to stay up until +6, that’s midnight for me, should I load up the auto feeder with MC snacks for the rest of the night when I go to bed?

Yes! Blaze wants to meet Mowgli in the lagoon!:D
And I’m sure he will bounce from this, it’s his M.O., bounces are his thing! I’m okay with him getting low on the weekends when I’m able to test (and can take a nap during the day unlike work days:joyful:) but what I’ve learned so far, is Blaze does what he wants, he’s in charge :rolleyes:
 
LC would be OK, and I think you can move to hourly testing. You want two rising tests in a row, without influence of carbs, before calling it a night, I won’t be up for your next test.
